365 days I crewed on sailboats from San Diego, USA all the way down to Panama, stopping in Mexico and Costa Rica. After Panama crossing the Pacific Ocean to New Zealand stopping at islands like the Marquesas Islands, French Polynesia, Tonga and Fiji
45 days I traveled through New Zealand from the Northernmost point to the Southernmost point, then
100 days I traveled by motorbike through Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, then
365 days I traveled in my self-built campervan from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, then
365 days I traveled with this van through Iran and Pakistan, then
180 days I built an off-grid log cabin in the woods in Spain, then
180 days I restored an old sailboat in Guatemala, then
365 days I traveled with this sailboat from Guatemala to Honduras, Cuba, Jamaica, Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Grenada and more islands in the East Caribbean
Currently we are #hurricanedamage , we're in the #carriacou doing #hurricaneberyl

Sad having to say goodbye to Lemonada, lots of very special memories as well as great videos of her maintenance, restoration, and sailing. Sorry to see Daniela is leaving, hopefully her absence won't be a long one and she will be back sometime soon. Remember, Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

It takes a lot of courage to be responsible in life. A career in Law is something you just don't abandon in a country like Colombia where making a living is so difficult. I just hope that they will be back together once education is completed.

Sadly I’m going to guess this is the end of Daniela. It’s hard to practice law from a sailboat in the middle of the ocean. Hope not ! Looking forward to Huub really diving into the reconstruction of the boat now that he has power.

Oh no, you put a screw in with a “regular” screwdriver, your boat will explode now. So many people use a power driver that it’s utterly ridiculous. They put the smallest screw they can find in with the biggest driver they can find and then wonder why they have stripped threads all the time. I can’t tell you the last time I saw someone putting in a screw with just a screw driver.
