The right hand sixteenth note in each grouping of "the memorable bit" is accented. It's not always evident that we accented it if you just watch, but if you listen, it's a bit more obvious.
i played snare for a bit but it was never a serious instrument for me, i just picked it back up and this is my first time ever using sheet music for snare, I'm already on my 6th bar and it has only been 5 days, thanks so much for the break down.
just like another video, I'm playing this for an audition. Thank you so much for what you do. Your videos really help explain In an efficient pace. Much love, and thank you once again!
I think at 3:39 that instead of beats 3 and 4 being: eighth eighth diddle diddle accent, I think they play an upbeat tap roll, like: eighth accent diddle diddle eighth. Also at 10:52, I think instead of the last beat being a fivelet, I've noticed they put a little space before the shots, so it can't be a fivelet, and I think it might be a sixteenth note followed by a 4:3 for the shots
You're correct about the upbeat tap 5. The shots are, in fact, written as a 5let, but we just gapped it a bit. Not really a deliberate choice, just how it ended up.
Would love it if you'd include a link to the sheets you use in your videos. I know I could simply take the music from your video and notate it on my Sibelius, but what fun would that be? I'd rather just print it out from your link. Ha! Please Geoff-start including sheets!
Dude nice teaching!! Wondering if you can teach something. I know you've been to the US but you most likely don't know these schools. Can you teach me at least the snare parts for thses videos OU Drumline Pre-game Performance and Pride of Bixby "Madness" prelims!!! PLEASE!!! You can look videos up by the way!!
What is a free app to do what you did in the begging? Because I plan on recording myself playing Monarch Independent 2020 legatos exercise. But, I don’t know what to edit it with
