About Michelle In The Meadow
I'm growing on a 1/4 acre suburban lot. I started gardening here 4 years ago and am glad you are here.
We have more than 80 individual fruit trees and shrubs and more than a dozen different kinds of annuals growing on this property. The slopes make for some interesting ways to garden, but we're trying to make the best of it.
On the first Sunday evening of each month (7PM Eastern), I go live on RUclips sharing updates and answering your questions.
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing to follow along on all the happenings in my Northeast Florida Zone 9A Garden. Until next time, my friends, remember to drink plenty of water, wear high-quality sunscreen and have a fantastic day.

Thanks so much!
Looking great! Spring is always such a busy time, but it looks like you are making your garden more accessible for yourself, and that is awesome! Can we look forward to a June Live?
Yes! I can't wait!
@@michelleinthemeadow wooohoooo!!
I'm catching up on videos. I am looking for two follow ups that I think you may have done, the one for the wing bean tuber and the other is the round bed with jute trellis. Happy Gardening from my northwest Florida 8b homestead.
Thanks for watching ... here's the round trellis video ruclips.net/video/HoY-_QsVGXs/видео.htmlsi=bc4KxerNa4uYrFmd
This may be the other one you're looking for ruclips.net/video/6QcwItoWzqU/видео.htmlsi=2006TPvF0UYn8H7B
@@michelleinthemeadow This is the one I said I saw, this is the one I said I am looking for the follow up of when the plants grew up on that trellis in the round bed, I thought you were going to do a follow up to show how well the trellis worked.
@@michelleinthemeadow I was referring to the video ruclips.net/video/rhupiYU2Yzk/видео.htmlsi=L-4V-A01sqT_BTGP around 4:00 when you talked about the tuber of the wing bean being edible, I also commented on that video. I though you may have done a video to followup on trying eating one of the tubers. I'm just curious what it tastes like.
@Maggie-Gardener-Maker Ah. The tubers were much smaller than expected, so I did not end up doing a taste test. I opted to transplant. 3 have survived the winter and are growing finally.
Wow that's a lot of work you've been doing! Why did you decide to change to wood chips, instead of a weed barrier?
Great question. The primary reason is that because of our sloping yard, the ground is very slippery after rain. We both had some near falls because of the slipperyness. And 2nd, I like how nice it looks with mulch, too. Krup kun kaaa.
Ohh... That makes sense. I'm glad you didn't fall!! And yes, it looks very nice❤
Looks great! Lots of new plants and trees. Keep growing on 🪴 🪴 🪴 🪴
Thank you! It feels good to make progress!
