About Michelle In The Meadow
I'm growing on a 1/4 acre suburban lot. I started gardening here 4 years ago and am glad you are here.
We have more than 80 individual fruit trees and shrubs and more than a dozen different kinds of annuals growing on this property. The slopes make for some interesting ways to garden, but we're trying to make the best of it.
On the first Sunday evening of each month (7PM Eastern), I go live on RUclips sharing updates and answering your questions.
If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing to follow along on all the happenings in my Northeast Florida Zone 9A Garden. Until next time, my friends, remember to drink plenty of water, wear high-quality sunscreen and have a fantastic day.

Thank you for watching.
Yay Michelle! So happy to be able to gather in the garden with you! I pulled off my first Green Bell Pepper today!
Hooray! That's awesome! Thanks always!
Makes me hungry ! Great looking veggies !
Thank you! The stuffed peppers were delicious 😋
I can’t believe the variety you have in your garden. You make me want to try okra now 🤣
Amazing harvest! We tried currant tomatoes this year and used those in our salads. I think need up roasting most of the cherry tomatoes on the grill, then made Dal and rice with them. Add a chopped up, garden fresh zucchini and/or yellow crookneck and a handful of fresh spinach.
That's a great idea! I'll try that soon! Thanks.
Such a great harvest, everything looks amazing!
For an abundance of tomatoes: I ALWAYS make creamy tuscan chicken pasta! A lot of people use sun-dried tomatoes, but I love it with fresh! Chicken, cherry tomatoes, cheese, cream, spinach or kale, ... and a side salad? One of my favorite meals!
Thanks for the tips! Sound yummy!
I made tomato and basil soup one year! It was the best soup!!!MM!
Oh yum! Oooh I need to look up my tomato and bean soup recipe. Hmmmm. Thank you@
The nature tax is a real thing lol. Im still waiting for my first full size tomato. My micros have been giving me one or 2. Oll be living vicariously through you for another month. 🎉 I make a bunch of salsa. Lately im getting into indian food. Seems to use up a fair amount of tomatoes.
It's is so real.
You are welcome to live vicariously, I do the same with your worm bins.
Salsa. Great idea. Hmmmm. Indian food. Yum!
I use my tomatoes in fresh salsas and I make a cherry tomato and turmeric curry sauce that is great either vegetarian or with chicken. You can add a little of those spicy peppers into it as well.
Sounds yummy. Curries are my favorite!
Awesome haul.
Thanks!
Hi...new subbie here, thanks for sharing. Great garden harvest and thanks for the pickleworm trick 😊
Welcome subbie 😀 Glad to help. It's pretty effective, and we get to keep the cukes, too.
I wanted to tell you that the last time i was at Solomon"s , they had hundreds of bolts of mesh or (tool, i know the spelling is wrong but i hope you get it), at $2:00 for the whole bolt. If you know anyone that sews, you could make the tree/bush covers for cheap. Just FYI. Great harvest!!!
Thanks for the tip. I've always wanted to check that place out. We are getting daily rain now to the West, so things are finally popping.
