Oh I love that beachy vibe on the table, beautiful mix! Thinking I know what my next project will be! I have every color and never use them. I'm pulling them out now. So many great suggestions! Thanks AJ!!
I love your videos I have learned a lot from you thank you! I applied a voodoo gel stain after I stripped and lightly sanded my drawer fronts for 220 sandpaper. It looks very blotchy. Should I have applied Dixie Belle clear before applying the voodoo staying? How do I fix it now that it’s blotchy? Any suggestions?
Hey Maria! Voodoo Gel Stain needs something porous to soak into, so clear coat would not be ideal. I would try another coat or 2 and if that doesn't work, you may have to use our No Pain Gel Stain which is our oil based wax. I hope this helps!
I love this stuff! Also what are you going to do about the lighter wood tone where the pull backplates on the piece behind you? I had to paint mine and didn’t want to.
Hello Athena, we are so glad that you are loving it! You can even out the tone and stain everything to match before putting the hardware back on. The great thing about painting furniture is that you get to do it the way you want! Happy painting!
I applied the natural over no pain gel stain walnut for a more natural look. Will I have any issues using 2 different types? The walnut was done 7 days before. Love all your videos! ❤️
Hi Lori, the No Pain Gel Stain is oil based and the VooDoo Gel Stain is water based. Every piece and project is different, just make sure to allow the piece to cure before heavy use!
Love AMY’s videos. I leans so much about Dixie Belle from her!!

Hi do u need to use wood conditioner or prestain treatment before the gel stains
Hi Shammi, No you do not need to do either of these things before using Voodoo! You can use on unfinished wood, painted and unpainted pieces!

@@DixieBellePaint Thank you, I decided to sand it all off and apply Hemp oil. I did not have any so I placed an order. I hope that works.
I want to use au naturel on some kitchen chairs, would you suggest sealing them? Cheers 😊
Hello Maria. You do not have to topcoat Voodoo Gel Stain, but you can if you want to for added protection, especially in high traffic areas.
Awesome video!! Can I use Gator Hide over the top of the gels?
Hi Harah, yes you can use Gator hide over the Voodoo gel!
Can this be used on a veneer or factory finished after prepping?
Yes Valerie. You can use VooDoo Gel Stain on factory finishes after prepping.
