Can we all appreciate how Jeff is a top caliber trainer who literally trains some of the best athletes in the world, and he gives us hundreds of hours of content for free?
I appreciate Greg talking about how the exercise feels, those comparisons, etc. It pairs well with Jeff explaining why he chose them. That's why I love this channel.
Hi jeff my name is Leovigildo Mota im from the dominican republic and i watch your videos and i relly love them,to be honest i had learn o lot from your videos and i keep learning,i own a small gym here in D,R AND I HELP o lot of people using what i learned from your videos, you actually change the way i workout and train others, love your videos,i think you do a great job.
Jeff’s is the only channel that can draw my attention to watch a video for over 25 mins during the TNF game. He always demonstrates and clearly explains the rationale behind each movement that really helps a simpleton like me incorporate these lifts into my workouts. And major kudos to Greg Jennings for putting himself front and center for this workout. Keep up the outstanding work. Thanks guys!
Dude, I'm in 8th grade and have been following Jeffs workouts for about a year and have seen massive changes I bigger than the average junior football player and I'm coming in as a freshman lol Just found this and I am already sharing it with my friends at school thank you very much, sir!
A year ago today exactly. I was 6’1 220 pounds and a freshman in college. I wasn’t exactly fat but I was getting chubby from not playing football anymore and the whole freshman 15 hit me pretty hard. I ate like shit. Didn’t do anything. Felt depressed about it. But then I swear to god I was on RUclips being a lazy ass and saw your video on when to know if you’re training hard enough. That inspired me to start training every single day. 4-day program. Push. pull. legs. cardio & core. Repeat. I am now in absolutely amazing shape. Not bragging or anything but I’m jacked. I’ve been communicating with the coaches here at Texas A&M University and they seem to believe in me. They got me in contact with some of the schools personal trainers and next year I’m going to walk on. I know you probably will never see this but thank you from the bottom of my heart.
OJ workout left me with a stabbing pain in my back Colin kaepernick workout I never even broke a sweat just kneeling Adrian Peterson had me beat, no KIDding
accidentally dislike this video but absolutely love how you prioritize the necessary body maintenance to keep your body functioning optimally. I wouldn’t mind more videos about taking the necessary steps to prep your body for its best performance. I’m currently taking my kinesiology degree but your practical understanding is setting a standard for me to do so. I aim to make myself the best Athlete I can be, more aware of how my body works how to achieve my goals and how to stay healthy and injury free. Mean while I value your advice as The knowledge of training to fill in the gaps. Training in the most effective and safe way for performance and long term health is very valuable to me. Thanks for all the tips.👍
“Greg Jennings, I put the team on my back though”. Haha I love that throw back reference to one of the most classic hilarious RUclips videos of all time 😂
Ive never seen someone more intelligent than Jeff wow ! I learn so much from your videos its like whenever I hear your voice I'm becoming smarter and smarter
13:38 "How you position your body in space is going to have a distinct determination on what muscles are working."😄 -Jeff "the man cannon" Cavalier 🤔 ... Haha I'll see myself out😣 17:43 20:30
Jeff, you have the best content. You give us the tools to be the best we can be. I really like the explanation of why you should or shouldn't perform an exercise. Really good stuff mate👍🏽
Jeff, I really like videos like this, where you ask the question "what do you want to do with those muscles?" It's not just about pure size gains or increasing a metric, but making us better at the sports we are a part of. Thank you for advocating a more thoughtful approach to hitting the gym! I have a sport-specific request for a topic: endurance athletes. I'm primarily a cyclist, but do a few longer-distance running events too (marathon-type stuff). I'm particularly interested in trying to get stronger as a cycling sprinter so I can get better performance at criterium races in 2020. I don't want to gain too much weight, though, because every pound I gain is another pound I have to drag up a hill with me, so I fight to stay around 5'11" and 160lbs. It would be real cool if you could touch on the topic in a video sometime: explosive leg workouts tailored more for a person who keeps lean, low-weight musculature. Thanks for doing what you do! Keep up the great work!
We all have something when we run too much, for me it’s my hip flexor, for some it’s their knee, for some their ankle, and for a lot shin splints. I think ur supposed to do a warmup before you run so like run a mile at regular pace, stretch after for 30 secs each muscle, but especially stretch the calf’s but only for 30 seconds, after the run maybe do some calf raises to strengthen the calfs, and stretch calfs after the run
Laly M. Sorru I mean stretch calfs after the run if your not gonna workout your calves or legs after your run, or stretch the cAlfs after your leg workoit
I know that feeling of fighting for ropes regarding face pulls. The gym I attend has had to order more.Long live the face pull.Absolutly love the videos that are like this where athletes are in the X Box for a workout.
Having problems in my lower back, unilateral leg training have allowed me to still load up the legs a lot, but using a lot less weight and thus putting less force and torque on the lower back. Plus, I really got to work my lateral hip stabilization, so I will definitely keep doing it. I tend to prefer backward lunges, but Bulgarian split squats are really nice too.
