I love the black trim. They didn't have that as an option when I ordered a few weeks ago. It is definitely an amazing piece of engineering. Can't wait for warm weather.
@@bisem433 I've noticed that too and wonder why they don't have the black trim. Not only does it look great but it provides protection too. Congratulations on your new kayak!! 🥳 I can't wait for the warm weather too and for you to take it for a float! Thank you for watching and I'm happy to answer any questions if they come up!
Whoa! I didn’t even know they made those. Foldable solves lots of transportation problems. You did an awesome review on how to set it up and disassemble the kayak.
@@patrickstar1439 Thank you so much I really appreciate that!! It was a fun video to make and I hope it gets the word out on these things. Thank you for watching!
Just got one myself and set it up for the first time. Ive found the foot rest to be far too forward on the farthest back setting. Im 6' curious how tall you are and if it bothered you?@@SelfBuilt
@jonathansorise8797 congratulations on grabbing one! What color did you get? I'm the same height as you, 6 foot. I think I do the closest one or just fold my legs. I'm looking forward to summer though!
@@SelfBuiltAll white, wanted to somewhat hide the seams of the folds. Also will easily standout if for some reason I capsize. May have to rig up some kind of extended step.
@jonathansorise8797 White looks really nice. Good idea on hiding the seams. Don't be capsizing, you could write S.O.S. on the bottom haha. I'm sure you'll find some kind of way to make the extended step work. I bounce around from the step to sitting cross legged as I float around.
@@jonathanvargas4114 Great question. I haven't yet, but I've seen videos of people do it and it was a little wobbly but I think not more than any normal kayak.
@@SelfBuilt - you need to be careful when standing in it on the water. What keeps it buoyant is the water pressure from below - if you upset that by putting undue downward pressure with your body, the kayak floor can buckle - I would guess that the seat cage will minimize that from previous models. I have a 2021, a 2024, and my 2025 arrived a few days ago - I can’t wait until next summer!
@mikeweber5416 Thank you so much for the tip! I wouldn't want to cause damage to it. You have been in the folding kayak game much longer, how have your kayaks held up? I'm so excited for you to try the 2025! They just keep getting better and better! Is it summer yet? Hah

What would you like to know about these folding kayaks?
Have you try standing on it?
