Today we take a look at ten different times throughout the Yugioh shows when an opening/intro depicted an event that did not actually happen in the anime itself! Let me know if you have any I failed to mention, and let me know all your thoughts down below! Enjoy!

Yu-Gi-Oh: 10 Times the Yugioh Openings/Intros LIED! Развлечения
You missed one. I remember Yu-Gi-Oh GX clearly promising that Jaden would be chilling out with the crew in the school yard very often. But he honestly didn't do that very much.
On god
Hahahahaha yes!
Marik dueled yugi every time he possessed a Steve.
It was never face to face though. They lied to us.
I came here to mention this 1:30
It was not a lie,it is the slifer duel
marik was not there in the flesh but strings was just link
It was not on kaiba's blimb yet it happened
[the whole script of yu gi oh abridged]
You know, joeys name is still technechlly steve from that one time he legally changed his name
He only dueled Yugioh through a steve once with the weird mime steve. Every other time he possessed them after the Pharaoh had kicked their asses.
Theres one more from Zexal:
In the final Zexal closing theme (or opening? I forgot), Mr heartland and his 4 henchmen are shown lined up among the good guys. Heartland and his underlings are never revived onscreen so they technically shouldn't be present for that shot. Also, Vector is absent from the group, although this was presumably done to avoid spoilers.
Thats a really good catch! I didnt even realize something like that , good job!
Yugioh (1998): The Pharaoh summoned Dark Magician in the opening, but he never used Dark Magician in that series.
Indeed
Arc-V opening 6 shows Yuya using Odd-Eyes Raging Dragon for his entertainment duel. That couldn't be more opposite to how the dragon was portrayed in the show.
Very true, we barely saw that card even used in the last 20 eps
Its funny because Bastion's cards actually got a bunch of new support recently in the TCG under the "Legendary Duelist" booster. Would've been a perfect time to give that fire dragon card an actual print but instead they did 2 water dragons (Water Cluster Dragon) AND a hydrogeddon monster (Duoterion). Also there was a duel between Yami and Seto in a Duel Monsters duel, but Seto was riding Blue Eyes and Yami was riding Curse of Dragon.
The biggest lie: That Yugo and Yuri would have an amazing duel instead of what happened :/
They also lied by showing Yuya and Yugo dueling in opening 3. The second biggest lie was making it look like half of the characters they introduced would be treated with respect.
Now I want "10 times the endings lied" *looks at A5 last ending*
Thats definitely one that will happen in the future!
Vinicius Walker I headcanon that after Yuya lost to Yusho, they found a way to seperate the Yu-boys and Bracelet Girls, making the last ending canon.
Also there were 2 instances in 5ds eds where Leo's signer dragon appeared in the first ending of the second season and where Aki and Yusei were together in the second one indicating that her and Yusei's dragons maybe have combined
Here is one pendulum dashing yugioh arc v Ed 6 it made us think everyone would be okay with a happy ending
@@YugiohEverything Actually, if I remember....they did duel each other, but not in Battle City, they dueled each other during Duelist Kingdom....so they did duel against each other, but not in the right arc, as it were
Remember being hyped for Yugo vs Yuri? Damn Shame.
Top 10 Underused/Forgotten Characters
Top 10 Duels that Ended in Draw
Top 10 Secondary Characters
Top 10 Summonings
Just brainstorming xD Really cool video, man!
Are there 10 duels that ended in draw...? Now I'm not sure
Thanks for all the suggestions! :D
+1 for Top 10 Summonings
Yugioh Everything hey dude how's it going also two things
1:Did the copyright strikes from nihon ad systems leave and there good
2.You should make a top ten video called top ten mysteries in yugioh (as in every show I say this because there have been some mysteries but I don't know if there are atleast ten so just pick atleast 5 if you do decide to do this)
Top 10 game winning attacks, like yuya when he attacks Yuri with odd eyes. That was such a well done scene
TBH I expected over half of this list to be Arc-V
I tried to make it balanced, but at the same time I genuinely only found 2-3 things in each show lol
You know what would i love to see? Yuto vs Yuri
saaaaame
Would've been better than Joeri vs Hugo that's for sure...
+WillFanofMany he held back with Sora
+WillFanofMany no but for real I agree
YES!
And yet, despite the whole xyz vs fusion during Arc V, Yuto and Yuri NEVER interact during the anime. Even Yugo and Yuya have more interaction then they do... WTH?
I don’t know about you guys but I’m still salty about not getting Yuya vs Yugo after getting that opening
Yep! Dont worry thats on here haha
SHURIT, STRATEGIST OF THE NEKROZ there's a Fanfic about Arc-V that has Yuya vs Yugo. If u want, I can recommend it to you.
SHURIT, STRATEGIST OF THE NEKROZ ma man
Yugioh Everything I’m watching up to the Zexal one right now, glad you put it on the list
SSJGamer It’s fine thanks tho
So thoughts on each of the OP misleads:
1) Definitely noticed Marik never dueled Yami Yugi and that Marik never dueled at all. While it may be possible Marik and Yami Marik had similar decks since they're kinda share the same body, we may never know what cards Marik used since he lent cards to various duelists over the Battle City arc.
2) A Yugi VS Joey duel (with the rules YGO has now of course) would've been interesting.
3) Like I said on Twitter, definitely a noticeable lie since it seemed Misawa seemed to have plenty of duels throughout the series. Instead, we were left with a Fire Dragon card that may never be made, along with 4 other decks he had hinting to be themed around the FIRE, WIND, LIGHT, and DARK Attributes.
4) I honestly never saw that mislead, but anyways, I'm surprised Judai didn't use that card since it's part of the archetype that he runs in his deck throughout the series.
5) That part definitely makes you wonder what went on behind the scenes as when I watched the actual duel in the series the 1st time, it was weird for Carly to use a D-Wheel since we don't see her having any riding experience.
6) Yuma VS V would've been an interesting duel, as we would've been seeing #39 battle #9, although considering #9 has an ability to negate attacks, Yuma and Astral would've probably used Double-Up Chance for #39 to destroy #9 and beat V
7) Didn't really matter much for me honestly, since it helped make Shark the underdog against IV.
8) Definitely one of the more interesting and noticeable misleads in the video. It's really debatable on whether we wanted to see the duel from that opening or just stick with the duel we got a bit after the tournament. In my opinion, I would've preferred to have the actual duel we got I'm the series since what went on in the opening would have to mean that Yuma had to beat Kaito. However, considering Kaito was the more popular character compared to Yuma, that would've made Yuma hated (or even more hated depending on how you feel about Yuma).
9) Akaba Reiji VS Yuto would've been an enjoyable duel to watch, as we would've seen more of Yuto's Phantom Knights battle the D/D deck of Akaba Reiji. This is also one of the more heartbreaking misleads knowing what happened to Yuto shortly after the debut of this OP, considering Yuto was probably one of the most popular characters of ARC-V. Also makes you wonder how they series would go if Yuto had not died 1/4 into the series.
10) Again, definitely an interesting mislead, as Yuya VS Yugo would've also been an enjoyable duel to see. Also another heartbreaking mislead considering we were sooooooooooooooooo close to seeing this duel happen in the friendship cup *thanks Yuzu for destroying that possibility :(*
Also Dylan, another mislead you could've also mentioned is in ARC-V OP 5, Starve Venom battled Crystal Wing, which we never see happen in the Yugo VS Yuri duel. (Now that I think about it, ARC-V seemed to have a lot of interesting duels and plotlines that got scrapped for unknown reasons).
Guess that part about Go in VRAINS....
xD I didnt include vrains since its way too early to tell lol
It's cool to see these kinds of differences, theories can get a lot of fuel from 'em. Pendulum Beat has many errors too. We never see normal Yuya use Odd-Eyes raging nor do we know what the purple glow behind yuri in the 4 dimensions scene is. Would love to see one of these for the endings too, Dylan!
Thanks Joona! And ending one is definitely psosible!
yuya vs yugo, that's the one that stroke me the hardest
OsTheBarbarian there's a Fanfic about Arc-V that includes Yuya vs Yugo. If you want, I can recommend it to you.
I know, thats the most recent and I guess relevant out of all of these
OsTheBarbarian same ma man
And the worse part Yugo become nobody even though he is from Synchro even Rin are nobody to Synchro people.
Too much Yuya's bs duel
OsTheBarbarian Yeah... But I guess they didn't want Yuya to be the one to absorb Yugo either that or they scrapped it halfway for the heck of it.
12:06 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH
DON'T REMIND ME.
IT'S HARD TO LOVE YUGO WHEN I KNOW HE ACCIDENTALLY KILLED MY FAVORITE CHARACTER.
Oh Zexal, you're my third favorite YGO series and I still blast your opening songs like crazy, but if I may say something, I WANT MY ZEXAL YUMA AND PISSED OFF KAITO DUEL!!
I know! That would have been an interesting duel, since there actual one in that arc was a lot more calmer than depicted in the OP xD
That duel would be damn tough to write, since it's likely that they didn't want Yuma to ever actually "beat" Kaito as suggested in the video. Though if you're gonna say the reason for that is "Number 69 came outta nowhere," that was just an afterproduct of the whole switcheroo.
The way I would write it, Yuma and Kaito would be going all out on each other, and it appears as though Yuma's gonna win, but Dr. Faker interrupts the duel by forcibly taking all the Numbers before Yuma would go for the finishing blow. Both he and Kaito are knocked out for a while by the sudden loss of all their acquired Numbers, and the duel is ruled a "Draw by Double KO" by Mr. Heartland.
A few minutes later, the pair comes to their senses, and everything seems to be okay. Except for one thing: Astral is nowhere to be found. Turns out Dr. Faker abducted him from within the Sphere Field and has both him and all the Numbers found up to that point locked inside. Yuma and Kaito agree to postpone their duel for the time being, and they find and team up with Shark to locate Faker and bring him to justice.
From there, the story continues as written, except in the last match of the season (after Faker's defeat), Kaito unofficially becomes the winner of the Heartland Tournament by beating Yuma.
Zexal is favourite one of all of them
The biggest offender imo, was the last ending of Arc-V. It had all the Yuu/Bracelet boys and girls enjoying their lives only for them to get shafted to hell.
I honestly thought we could've gotten a battle Royale involving a tag team with each respective dimensional Yuu boy/Bracelet Girl for the ceremonial duel. It would've been a way better conclusion.
But instead the writers thought it'd be a smart idea to kill 6 of them off.
Shin Jiro this is because ARC V is not Canon only all 4 orginal to Zexal as for ARC V only the First ARC is Canon until Zarc used time Travel to Destroy time and space and the rest of ARC V takes place in the Destroyed Yugioh DM timeline so the 7th Yugioh series is about Restoring time and space and bringing people back into the Orginal Demension
So insulting and disrespectful towards the characters... looking back at it it makes me hate Arc-V even more. And ppl wonder why Arc-V was easily the most hated series, if not worse of all the other ygos... when a series goes bad it turns me off completely...
Not every Yu-Gi-Oh! series has to end on a high note.
Bruno(Antinomy) was killed in a lethal Turbo Duel that sent him into a black hole in Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's, which haunted Yusei throughout the remainder of the Divine Cradle Arc.
Kazuma Tsukumo and Byron Arclight gave their lives to let Yuma and Shark(Nash) have their last duel in Zexal. Poor Reggie died after that, too.
And he's not a pivotal character, but don't forget, Bonz was technically killed off with his goons by Bakura in Battle City, never to be seen again, trapped in the Shadow Realm until the end of time.
@@CRASHjester Uhhhh how long has it been since you last watched Zexal? Basically everyone was revived by the Numeron Code. They even show Yuma’s parents and Byron back in the human world.
Fantastic video as always! I still consider it a huge missed opportunity that they didn't include Bastion's "Fire Dragon" in the new Legendary Duelists pack.
You want to know what's crazy? Technically, they can still do it, in the same Deck. His "chemistry" Deck runs a seemingly superfluous Carboneddon, a small boi based on the element Carbon. When carbon oxidizes, a single spark can light a fire . . . So it would have involved Oxygeddon and Carboneddon in some way.
Really great video Dylan! It defenitaly give a lot of food for thought, seeing as the YGO openings have a long history of being a false advertisement for the upcoming events in the anime, especially when it comes to possible future duels. Just to show that we never have to jump up to any immediate conclusions about what would happen on the show strictly from out-of-context shots in the openings and endings.
And may I congratulate you on catching all of those 'controvercial' moments, as many of them came from blink-and-you-miss-it shots of the OPs.
I must admit that it would be great to see on screen many of those never-to-happen duels, especially the Pharaoh vs. Regular Marik, Pharaoh vs. Joey and Yuya vs. Yugo ones.
For the why some of the duels that you mentioned in your video never came to be tho, I want to theorize that it because those character vs. character shots were there to show the face off of those two character against each other in a sense of a future rivalry story arc, and not necessarily for foreshadowing just one duel that never happened anyway. This might be true for the Pharaoh vs. Marik, Yuma vs. V and Kaito and Reiji vs. Yuto ones. For the rest.... IDK. The specifics of the shots, their compositions and animations make them to be really hard to analize. Especially seeing as almost all of them depict the two characters dueling each other, and there is almost no question whether thore a depictions of a duel or not.
Especially with the supposed Yuya vs. Yugo duel, seeing as it seems to be a 100% guarantee to happen, but many even had a ston-solid theory of *when* this duel should had take place- as many theorize, this should had been the Final round duel of the Friendship Cup tournament, and Yuya & Yugo basically had to duel for the right of being the duelist to face of Jack for the true final match of the tournament.
And if I remember the theorized F. Cup Semi-Finals matchups correctly, Yuya had to face of Crow (as it actually happened) and Yugo had to face of Sergei in order (with both of the You boys winning their duels) in order for their duel to happen. And this supposed to be the undoubtaly the "official plans" for the end of the F. Cup tournament. Why it was changed is beyond me.
Yuya skating Happy with raging Dragon in the "one-world"
Arc-v opening 6
Alternate storyline?
Thats true, we never saw that Unified World at all, and we barely saw OERD at all during the last 25 eps, I think he appeared once
Yugioh Everything twice, sadly. I really liked it
Yugioh Everything Twice. The second time Raging Dragon showed up was Yuya and Declan's two-on-one duel against Leo.
Interesting video, Dylan!
Some of these are very interesting. For GX, in the seven stars opening, it seems to imply that Manjome was going to duel the Pharaoh seven star. It’s too bad that Misawa didn’t get more spot light :/
I totally forgot about Kaito and Yuma dueled in the finals xD.
Reji vs Yuto would’ve been awesome! However, Yuya v Yugo shown really wouldn’t have fit with the overall plot, since one of them would’ve been absorbed. And having 3 yu boys would’ve included 3/4 of Zarc, and so there would be a lot of Darkness.
Wonder how some of the duels in the opening that were lies would have played out this really gets my wondering about what could have been. Nice video.
Thanks! Yeah a lot of interesting duels that just never came to fruition :/
In the GX second opening they showed that Manjoume will duel against Pharaoh, but never happened
Where?
@@L1TT1eHaM80Yz when the Shadow Rider match ups are kind of shown. Titan vs Asuka, Tanya(?) Vs Misawa en then Pharaoh (forgot his name) vs Manjoume. But its not a huge 'lie'
Last train is DOPE!
Played it on the Japanese arcade guitar hero
I never saw it as an Atem vs Jou duel, nice o.o
your welcome dylan thanks for the shout out
I love how openings can also spoil or foreshadow upcoming episodes like Gozaboru Kaiba in the Digital world arc where he appears in the opening spoiling the twist that he was behind the plot of the arc although it was foreshadowed in the first episode of that arc when Seto mentioned that Noah and the Big Five couldn't make the digital world themselves hinting someone else was behind it all.
I think in many duels the strings are changed accordingly simply to avoid spoilers. E.g. I didn't know if Marek would break out and that's why he was shown normally. Same for Yuma because you would have expected that kite wouldn't lose It's just as cold for Yuma, since one would have expected that kite wouldn't lose his duel in which he has to lose against Yuma
I was gonna do homework but Dylan’s video comes first of everything!
HAHA thanks! Homework should be illegal on Saturdays ;)
Yugioh Everything Lol So tru!
Maybe, the guy who make the opening doesn't want to spoil us the anime
I remember how in Zexal's first opening, there's a brief shot of Fuya (the Star Robin guy), which made me think that he was going to be more important than he was since he was in the opening while some of the other one-shot Number holders weren't. But nope, after episode 8 he didn't show up again until episode 45, well past the first opening's run.
This was a good idea for a video, I haven't really given this a thought
In Yugioh 5ds opening 3, there is a scene at the very end of Aki being in a supposes cheerleader outfit, it never comes to be.
Here's a good one: In the final Zexal credits sequence, Challenge The Game, Mr Heartland and his henchmen are depicted among the "good guys", despite being dead at that point of the show. They were presumably revived by Astral like everyone else, but it still seems odd.
Wonder how many times this is going to happen with VRAINS in the future. Great video!
Guess we'll wait and see! Thank you!
Hey man after binging some of your stuff I've decided to sub
Great video :)
my suggestion would be Top 10 siblings
Thanks for the shout out man and great vid.
Now I have a suggestion for ya. Whenever the sound duel for VRains comes out, you could do a top 10 character themes, or a top 6 protagonist themes.
Thanks for the suggestion and help man!
Yugioh Everything You're welcome man anytime
Yuya vs Yugo would have been so great duel, but that was a dream or a wish that never came true
I know :/ Still salty we never got it
Awesome Video!! Could you do a video on the top 10 one turn kills in yugioh!! eg. Kaito vs The Moon or Sartorious vs the prince (even though he didn't have a turn) i so want to see your faves
Op 5 of Zexal hinted that the don thousand duel would be a three on one, also a figure that is unknown is holdong kiteos body in Zexal op 6
10:50 "and then he was DEAD" that delivery just slayed me. absolutely wished he got to duel a little more outside of yuuya's body
How about top 10 music themes in yugioh, also great video :)
Hi Dylan you should do top forgetten storylines like you did for 5D's ! I'm looking forward for others like Arcv with LDS trio and Shun (Anger inside of me !)
"...he never dueld anyone."
Marik: feelsbadman
2:36 I never took it as them during each other. It was just a character showcase. I doubt it was meant to show Yami (NOT YUGI) and Joey in the midst of firing a mystery opponent. Not each other. Call it an animation error since they didn't show elevator behind Joey. Errors in animation happen a lot.
One of the things that I noticed in the Yugioh GX opening intro was that Jaden was dueling Crowler and he was wearing his red blazer which he wasn't wearing in the dub when he was dueling Crowler in the dub.
Bastion got screwed over so hard. They gave him nothing during the society of light or yubel arcs
This was fun to watch.
Precious time glory days might be my favourite opening out of all of them. The ending for S4 GX was also really good.
Yes!! Love that ending song
In Arc V op 6, the represensation of Odd Eyes Raging Dragon was misleading as it Yuya was shown in control but never did as Zarc took over and Yuya smiled less with the opening upbeat and positive theme was not fitting where the story was going for the yu boys
Thats very true, furthermore, we only saw Odd Eyes Raging Dragon like once in the last 25 episodes
Yuma vs kite was intended on the magma field if you look closely at the monster that is reflected off from utopia sword
Top10 monsters that people thought were going to be in one of the anime but end up not being in the anime would be a good video
Top 10 “sore wa dou kana” moments in Yugioh
+Yugioh Everything
I have an idea about what likely befell the fate of Bastion's second dragon (the Fire Dragon). At one point in the anime, we know that one of Bastion's decks was tossed in the ocean by Chazz in episode 12. It's a Prototype deck that's based around the elements with monsters that get different elements based on what elements are on the field, including Elemental Dragon, a light-type Dragon monster that gets 500 attack when a fire-type monster is on the field. What my theory is concerning the missing Fire Dragon is that the missing Fire Dragon (possibly Solar Flare Dragon) was to be one of these monsters in the deck and would've played a big part in the deck (possibly having a lock with another Solar Flare Dragon while powering up certain cards), but since the deck, or what had been gathered for the deck, since we know Bastion does think his strategies through, had been tossed in the ocean by Chazz, the card was forever put on the back burner, never to see the light of day in the GX anime (However, the monster itself does appear in ZEXAL as one of the stage hazards of the lava field, so maybe it got its due?). Also, it could've been the deck that Bastion might have been building to try to defeat Jaden, which would've made Solar Flare Dragon his first ace had its deck not been thrown into the ocean by Chazz, leading to Bastion building the Water deck he uses against Jaden.
But, that's my idea about the missing Fire Dragon... It could also be in one of the other four decks that Bastion has on him but never uses as well. Two possibilities.
Hope you enjoy reading this! :D
You should do a top 10 for cards that are the most drastic changes from their anime effects to their real life effects.
Good video man a lot of openings were misleading.
Last time I was this early, Yuzu still had a personality
Damn. That one hit hard.
Wait how about that scene in the opening Going my Way. The part with Yusei using Shooting Star? then Junk Warrior on the Machine Emperor boss thingy?
You should make your top 10 Japanese Yugioh openings
What's your favorite opening or closing song to listen to? Mine is Future Colors from 5Ds. I even learned it on the guitar. I love that one!
in the dub intro for original yugioh it shows yugi drawing a card with the friendship thingy tea made on his hand when even during his first duel against kaiba when he won with exodia
Does anyone remembers that giant LEO Corp. missile/spaceship that appears right before Shun appears flying on his monster in the second Arc V opening? I always wondered how would they use it but it was never mentioned in the series. I'm also salty that we didn't have a Yuya vs Yugo duel
About the regular marik not dueling whilst it is true to an extent. If we want to get technical about it he did surrender the duel at the end thus making a play during the duel so he kinda did but not really.
I think that its hilarious how jack atlas had a blank expression on his face and didn't flinch at all watching two dragons flying up his window building
RIP Yuto. You never got any chances .> Even though they were among the coolest, Ruri had so much potential and was 'hidden' from us the longest out of all the other bracelet girls... make that all the XYZ characters are my bittersweet memories of Arc V :((( It's why Im trying to forget Arc V, tbh, it made me cry the most after so many characters who got pretty much shafted...)
they shafted the entire series after the synchro arc, I still believe that the writers were just rushing like crazy just to get arc-v out of the way, the yu-boys and bracelet girls deserved so..SO much better than the crap they got at the end.
Yes but some of them got the better end of the stick so to speak. Yuto didn't even stand a chance, nor did Ruri. Rin at least had a win to her name :/
sadly that was under mind control, and that sucks because rin is my favorite of the braclet girls
Still better than what they gave Ruri :) (she lost against that Sayaka whose character I pretty much despise now)
Especially after it took 75 episodes for us to even see her >.>
I suppose that's true, as for sayaka and Aren, they were just, hey here you have some characters have fun with them, I still don't know what purpose they actually served (besides giving yuya his rollerskates).
Good vid! how about 10 times the heroes broke the rules?
The last one was a reference from the 5th opening of 5ds when yusei and jack make their dragon fly up to the bridge and both of them where standing there
So many lies in the opening of yugioh but for me the ones that stick the most is the Fire Dragon from GX the Yuya vs Yugo duel from arc V.
The time 5Ds played Last Train for the first time was so hype. My brother and I couldnt stop playing that song
I think in an interview it was stated Yugo vs Yuya was changed or something. It's a shame they let the card game dictate who stays alive and who dies. That ruined many of ARC V's potential. Yuto and Yuri should've had more screentime.
at 8:21 you miss something that can maybe answer who Yuma in Zexal Form is dueling on the Magma field we see Utopia Ray behind Yuma and Neo Photon Dragon appear on Utopia Ray sword so maybe he's Opponent was Kaito
There was also the last opening of Arc-V where Yuya is seen skating up a building with his heelys with his ace monster, but it looked different when they reached the top. I don't remember seeing that form of Yuya's Odd eyes Pendulum dragon.
Take a shot every time Dylan says "In the dub" xD
Really goes to show you how many ridiculous dub changes there are
Is there some in Vrains' openings
There was also the opening in Arc V that showed odd eyes raging dragon flying in a bright blue sky looking majestic heroic in a way, when actuality, that thing is something you can truly call a monster as there was nothing majestic or heroic about it.
I SO wanted to see Yuma go against V funny thing is he's Arclight he doesn't duel weird
It is weird, that would have been such a good duel
Sayaka*Ichigo*Kamishiro*Arclight*[SIKA] they technically did duel even if was only for a little bit when Yuma saved Nistro/Gauche in the duel carnival duel coaster section from being eliminated by Quinton/V and made him mad by actually damaging him like he said XD that's why I remember that they actually dueled
For someone who's only watched zexal's dub since it was on CN when I was little, it's strange hearing "kaito" more often. But it's basically the same name dubbed or subbed
Come to think of it there were more from the Original Yu-Gi-Oh in the english openings. There was one intro, I forget which season, had Pegasus in it but he was not in that season as he was done in during the Duelist Kingdom arc.
Another thing in the second OP for ARC -V was that there was a rocket soaring through the clouds that had the Leo Corps logo on it, which you would think that it could have been a plot point, but it didn't do anything whatsoever.
Thats true, LDS never used any rockets or anything like that lol
Also Dylan for the next Vrains opening watch they put Blue Angle vs Revolver but they are not going to duel at all in the show haha
what are your views on vrains
What would that fire dragons name be? And how would you make it?
No idea.. There is fan art for it, right here www.google.com/search?q=fire+dragon+yugioh&tbm=isch&imgil=CawWYnhCGVZ_2M%253A%253BUVeOfvWIyaTiBM%253Bhttps%25253A%25252F%25252Fforum.yugiohcardmaker.net%25252Ftopic%25252F35591-bastion-misawas-fire-dragon-finally%25252F&source=iu&pf=m&fir=CawWYnhCGVZ_2M%253A%252CUVeOfvWIyaTiBM%252C_&usg=__ZvXJ_3_xJRmSDgGQEfmg0defjTc%3D&biw=1366&bih=662&ved=0ahUKEwjwp7Lbw83WAhVLRyYKHROpBuUQyjcIOw&ei=B-HPWbCIHsuOmQGT0pqoDg#imgrc=CawWYnhCGVZ_2M:
What about that part in the first series opening where Yugi was riding on his Curse of dragon against Blue eyes? I wonder if that was meant to happen?
Top 10 plot twists in Yugioh. Top 10 unexpecting duel victories in Yugioh.
Having Yuto stay for like 20 episodes longer would have been amazing
There is actually an interesting thing about the fire dragon. If I am correct if you look in Season 1 of GX with Jaden vs Nightshroud/Atticus duel while Chumley and Syrus are in the orb you can see the fire dragon "swimming" or at least circling their bubble. It has been a long time since I saw the episode but I believe that is the case.
marik technicly was in a duel once, but only to forfeit it to kill off yami marik.......which is even more outragous actually
And with that Yuya vs Yugo scene, I expected that Yugo would've lost and be absorbed by Yuya at the end of the synchro arc which would've been a perfect time but no.....
That would have been a perf time, would have much rather seen that happen then what actually happened lol
But Yuya was already overhyped as is... give all the other yu boys a chance to at least shine...
Red most people liked the other yu boys more than yuya anyways. Hell my favorite was Yuto and his phantom knight monsters but he became Casper the friendly ghost.
JedMesa maybe the writers liked yugo and didn't want to kill him off to early like they did with yuto
Korbin Floyd And then they killed him off in the most anticlimactic way... Hugo/Joeri vs Yuya/Ute would've been the best opportunity to make up that duel that they never had at the friendship cup tournament. Also would've been nice to see Hugo try to use Transcendental Fusion after syncing with Joeri? Although all of his monsters are wind attribute, summoning Starvey would require him to have at least 2 dark monsters... I guess they went with the best course of action for the plot to kill him off there, but Yuya vs Joeri was such a wasted opportunity imho, maybe it's b.c I never liked Joeri's crazy psychotic character.
YES!!!!
Perry Gharty you say yes, and get 5 likes😑😑😑😂😂
I,ve found one on the final opening of 5ds, in the end of the opening yusei is going to attack zone with junk warrior, but yusei not syncro summon junk warrior in the zone duel
Good catch! Yeah that is definitely a misleading scene!
Yugi and Joey did have a duel in the final episode of the Battle City season. It's at the very end where you see Yugi and Joey walk to each other and bring out their duel disks.
I do not know if it would make the cut for a lie in the opening or stay as a just unexplained imagery, but in the second opening of Arc V, there was a scene with a huge missal, with Leo corp. logo on it. This missal was never explained in the show, not to mention that there was zero talk about actual military weponary in Arc V. Also, in the third opening Hanate (unleash) there is an infamous line of the lyrics mentioning a bomb- that line is "....charge up the bomb, 3...2...1...go! ",that is sang over the group shot of all of the 9 Lancers, during the appearence of the Lance Defence Soldiers logo. I know that many theorize that those are no more that a war imagery for the sake of war imagery in Arc V, but the show never had any infases on traditional warfare outside of Reira's origins flashbacks.
There was also the weird dragon eyed Yuri moments in Arc V's 4 and 6 openings. Those are really sneaky shots that appear when some spinning lines "flash" over Yuri's face, during the very start of those openings. They are extremely hard to catch, but deffinetaly there. Needless to say that Yuri never got any "dragon eyes" in the show, but the openings still made a point to show him having them for some reason.
Lastly, on the topic of Yuri, the 5the OP of Arc V showed him facing of Yugo in a duel, outside the castle of Academia. This duel , spoilers, did actually happened, but it took place *inside* the castle in some random coredore, not outside of it as it was shown in the OP. small detail, I know, but it was still a stange deviation from the actuality of that duel.
i'm kinda surprised at no mention of sora not joining lds in the second arc v opening
It's funny in like duel monsters and gx how every character is shown drawing and striking a pose as if to suggest that every character duels and that every character gets about the same number of duels, even though we know like Tristan and Tea duel once in their series
10 times the anime cards abilitys didn't match the real cards
You mean every time?
Another one is in the opening 4 of Arc V, which showed Odd eyes Rebellion fighting Scarlight RDA, however odd eyes rebellion was never summoned against jack in any duel between him and yuya.
I think 9 was a bit more foreshadowing for Yuya and Yuto's connection, right after Dark Rebellion charges it cuts to Yuya getting on Odd-Eyes and charging forward most but leaving who he was fighting vauge until Yugo and Yuri's cut which then cuts back to Yuya on Odd-Eyes attacking Reiji's monsters with Odd-Eyes,Beast-Eyes, and Rune-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. The Connection would later in that season be hinted through Yuto/Yugo's duel and when Yuya goes berserk for the first time where they all enter a trance-like state and talk in unison.
But speaking of Burn! one thing that was never alluded to in this opening was the rocket scene right after that where Yuya is Riding Odd Eyes through the clouds and a LEO Corp Rocket jets by with Shun Following.
