These older, 2006 Nissan Sentra's are the best vehicles ever made in history.

Agreed. My 2001 Nissan Sentra has 300,000 miles original engine original transmission only have had minor repairs that I’ve done myself. The car always starts always gets me a to b. And they’re very zippy around corners, and very easy to stop because they’re very light. My friend calls my car Frankenstein lol

@@GreenBoy424 Renault bought Nissan is 1999. They lowered intentionality the quality of the interior of some models to increase the profit. Also, from 2002 to 2006, the 2,5L was not reliable. Also, from 2007 to 2015, the CVT transmission was not reliable. Other than that, its ok.

I still have a 2004 Sentra with 210,000 miles and its been a tank of a car. The only issues with these Sentra's are the sensors (Crank and Camshaft sensor), and the fuel pump. The engine and transmission on these cars are bulletproof.

This Sentras (2000-2006) with (2003-2007) Corollas were the most reliable cheap sedans on the road. I still see lot of this Sentras all around Los Angeles and Malibu areas.

I bought a 04 Sentra from my dad, and I've taken it on 9 hours trips across the US, NOT A SINGLE ISSUE. The engine was built in Japan. The paint in silver fades really pretty bad in the sun, like battery acid, but you can do a cheap rustoleum paint job under $60 and sand it and clear coat it if you want it to really shine. I got lucky and my mechanic will paint it a dark gunmetal grey for a low price since he is learning to paint cars.
Like any other car, end link bushings and lower control arm bushings can get worn and need replacing. I think my dad put in an aftermarket steering pump that is too noisy for my taste, but all those are cosmetic things. Otherwise runs great!
I would always check the rear main seal on any used car, they tend to leak with age, no matter the brand. As long as it's not torn or leaking badly you can typically fix it with some atp 205 reseal, just make sure to follow the instructions and do an oil change within a week.

Wow, the dashboard looks the same from my 2010 N16 Sentra here in the Philippines. This B15 looks great! It even has the 1.8L QG18DE engine… the only difference were the AC controls, cup holders and a cigarette lighter.. aside from that even the door panels looks the same.

Yes I would , as a matter of Fact we have one that we bought practically new had less than 2k miles on it back in 2009 & we still have it and it has 169k miles on it now. I had a 2016 Nissan Sentra and had to replace the transmission on it twice, good thing it still had dealerships warranty, (CVT TRANSMISSION SUCKS) before it ran out of warranty I traded it in for a new Nissan Frontier . I just recently changed the following on my 2006 Nissan Sentra the timing chain, tensioner, guide, water pump, thermostat spark plugs and new belts, she runs like new!!! All I have to do is change the transmission oil and it will run for another 150k!!! So a BIG NO on the new Sentra!!!!!!
