Jacob aye man I always keep my apps on even while delivering, sometimes I’m driving to the customers and I get a banger next order, I accept because I have my own 1 mile rule if the drop off is a mile or two out I can start looking for my next order it’s way faster like that, then on the other hand sometimes I settle for a shitty door dash order but then a nice Uber one comes through and I accept the Uber eats one
Door Dash is less lenient as compared to Uber Eats so for this reason, I pay a bit more attention to Door Dash. I have experience with DD, I have over 4k deliveries under my belt so I have a pretty good handle when figuring out how to go about delivering 2 orders from both UE and DD simultaneously. I normally accept orders from DD and UE simultaneously only when the distance is close to one another this way, ill be on time to deliver both orders concurrently. If the destination of the orders is far, It's best to take the higher paying order and pause the other. And again, you want your acceptance rating on DD to be excellent to get high paying priority orders so declining orders will take your ratings down.
YOu are smart and you can be working in the office. This driving with UberEats or Doordash is so unstable. I am doing it right now and i am making $90 a day on average on 14 trips and being on the car for 8 hours trying to nitpick an order coming my way. But this money is not enough because your car will depreciate plus the gas expense. I would not recommend this job if you are young and has a good education even just part time.
Have you tried any of the apps like maxymo that accept and decline orders for you. There are different ones but they are supposed to assist you with multi apping. Do you have any recommendations regarding that?
Uber Eats better not penalize for going offline because their crummy app does it on its own!!!! I have to stop/start innumerable times per shift to make sure they really are “looking for customers.”
Im new and got too confident. I tried two order at the same time tonight and last night. 😳 Complete disaster on both. Ive never been so frustrated. Ruined my whole night. I will never do that again
Door Dash ends your dash if you let too many expire. I don't generally decline, I just let orders expire. Maybe I shouldn't. Anyway, while DD is waiting for you to accept or decline, they can't offer that order to another driver so if you don't take a few in a row, they end you. You can always get back on in my experience. I also find that my dash gets paused from time to time, while I am on a delivery and using the map.
Yeah I wonder about this, the expire doesn't appear to hit the decline metrics (often someone else grabs it from what the app says). I only see the percent I quickly declined before the expiration time. Sometimes the alert sound doesn't go off too - saw some $15+ no sound and it disappeared because I was driving and heard nothing. Getting a phone holder to have it more eye level though
Aha!! I came here to find out about 3:24. Thank you for answering my question about pausing the other app! Thanks to you, I'm going to try this tmro :) Being in the "major" (ish) urban area of San Jose, I'm still going way too long without offers (or at least decent offers).
@@PhoenixDeliveries bro I got a message saying one customer did not get the order!! wtf..... you think it was a "meet at the door" order and then they claimed that it wasnt delivered? what can I do so it doesnt happen again?? can I take a picture of the food on the "meet at the door as well??
Have being doing this for 2 days and thought about it but I get stressed with one app, let alone two, but now precisely thinking in what you said, pause one inactive app while doing the active delivery🎉
If you know your city well, I’ve had orders where they are only couple blocks away from another restaurant and damn near the same neighborhood sometimes it goes your way and sometimes you gotta use your head
Jacob I want you to try a shift of "extreme multi-apping." I've been doing this for months and I always make $45+/hr, even on slower days, and my market is not that busy in my opinion. In order for you to succeed at this you need to know your market extremely well, as well as your restaurants. Try turning all 3 apps (DD, UE, GH) and once you accept a decent order on one platform, head towards the restaurant but keep your other apps on and wait for another order going the same general direction. I've had 5 or 6 orders in my car at once and I've never gotten a contract violation from DD or a violation on GH or a tip removal from UE. By doing this you can complete as many as 6-8 orders/hr when it's busy, as well as be extremely selective with your orders, only taking the best of the best.
I am only able to do Uber eats at the moment I'm on a wait list for everything else.. has this happen to anybody else? I just got invitation for shipt just a couple hours ago is it worth it? I'm in a very populated area but I think I would eventually get all the other ones soon
Good video! I appreciate your advice about multi-apping. When I first started multi-apping I had to turn off the other apps because it was to distracting. After getting to used to multi-apping in my market I leave the other apps on by knowing my drop offs. When I do accept an order on another app while working on it is either knowing the restaurant’s location in regards to the customer drop off. Also, accepting the order on another app right at the drop off on a current order. If a driver accepts an order from 2 different apps make sure it is going in the same direction, going to the same street or going to the same apartment building/town house complex. I apologize for a long comment. It is a comment to confirm your advice.
@@CeceDeAnn You're not alone! I think many people are the same way. I know I am! Hello Jacob, Brilliant video. I was just thinking this yesterday (if one can run 2 apps at the same time) and here you have videos about how to do it with excellent advise. YOU ARE THE MAN!!! Cheers mate.

How do I get Uber Eats app to not take control and take priority of all other apps that I'm running while I have ubereats on? I noticed that if I have them both on that Uber Eats prioritises their app over all others on my phone
Reza: Good evening, I have already asked you how to log in to the uber driver system? Recently, I waited for a response from the support team, they said that I need a photo of the documents, something about a driver's license and a business license, why are there such requirements in the program if I am not a driver? Where can I find these documents if I need them? For example, I cannot understand what kind of document the uber driver CEIGE KRS program is asking me for, I found on the Internet that it is for entrepreneurs, yes or no? And the second document is generally something similar to a driver's license, and I was registered that I am not a driver, then why do they ask for such documents, or should they be entered not by the client but by the partner?
I'm very careful about that. If they happen to come in at the exact same time for the same restaurant, I might accept both if the drop-off is 2 minutes away from the other
My brother's GF worked for Door Dash corporate HQ based in San Francisco for almost 5 years. She told me the reason the market is saturated is because the majority of delivery drivers throughout the country are undocumented immigrants. DD does not confirm that a person is here legally and they can get a Driver's License and still be undocumented. I never would have realized this, but makes complete sense and you can bet that all the other delivery services are doing the same.

DD in my area kicks you off your dash for pausing. I was kicked off for pausing it to go to restroom.
I can only do DD all the other delivery apps I'm on the waiting list

How about stats in the apps if you continue declining orders?
