They literally track my gps and cut me off of orders for multi apping. They see I’m headed in another location when im trying to get the other order.
You have to file 2 jobs of self employment that cost more money when you file your tax's and have two milage apps to record separately so when you file mileage on each job there is no confusion on mileage
Everlance has a way you can categorize by which company the trip was for.
I've only been doing food deliveries for a couple weeks, and I use Uber Eats and DoorDash only at this point. One topic I haven't heard discussed is declining vs. ignoring an offer when multi-apping. Are ignoring and declining the same thing? I have been physically declining offers. Am I doing it wrong?
With just Uber eats the past two times I went out I had trouble making $30…the week before I was able to clear $100 but now all I’m getting are $2 orders…doesn’t make sense.
I would die of starvation on DoorDash in my market. I make under $100/week because the hours I am available never seem to have shifts. UberEats makes me almost $1000/wk over my regular work because I can work whenever I want. I did 275 deliveries in my first month & got an email saying I was in their top 18 driver for the Greater Toronto area. It may have gone down in the number of deliveries because I do more shop & pay grocery orders than anything else. There are fewer and the pay tends to be higher. When I first started, I had a lady come out to thank me for finally delivering her meals. They had been waiting an hour and a half and had 3 different uber drivers cancel the pickup/delivery. I don't know if they ordered again but I apologized to her. I have no control over that... Heather xo
That's great you're able to make good money with Uber. Sounds like you have a decent system with using DoorDash occasionally
@Jacob Warren Its working out that DoorDash is like my back up plan. I use it early in the morning until grocery stores are open and late at night on the days when I've been ubering all day & used up all my drive time on there. LOL
You’ll have to sign up as soon as it opens, delete whatever shifts you can’t do until you get top dasher or platinum status and can sign in whenever you want.
I thought dd only allows the 34 min pause per dd shift...
So even though it says 34 min or whatever, its really the amount of minutes that you ledt off on your last pause.
Otherwise it kicks you off.
Idn, ive heard this, and ive also (not multiappling) paused 2x and was kicked out of my dash even thoigh it said i had 25 or so min left in my pause.
i do DD and UE. i do similar to what you are saying on the expert way of doing it, but i try to take both orders. doesnt always work out but ive had some success at it. It helps if you know the area and lets say you get DD for Mcdonalds and accept, i leave UE on and a lot of orders go to common neighborhoods so while im waiting, i look for UE orders coming in that are going close to the area im going for DD and then ill take them both. I use gridwise now, but ill check out solo. thank you for the vid!
Sometimes taking two orders at one time can be profitable, but I try to stay away from it so I can focus on finishing each order as soon as possible. I do it when the restaurants and drop offs are both very close together. I'm loving Solo so far and hopefully you like it too!

Why don’t you suggest doing orders on both apps if the destinations are fairly similar

definately have to keep your mileage. you make a $10 delivery 10 miles actually makes it worth $16.65

Tried my hand at multiapping for the first time tonight, did not go so well. I'd have the usual down time, Get a delivery for UE, and of course it's a non-responsive customer, who needs to give me a pin to complete the delivery... And of course, that exact moment trying to get ahold of the customer along comes a great DD order. And I'm just thinking, this UE order isn't worth giving up on the $4/mile order for DD that just came in. I'll take the hit on non-delivery/cannot contact customer, submit the picture of their food at what the GPS says is the right place and head out.
I'll give it another shot tomorrow and remember to pause the other while working one.

Do you need two phones to multi-app? I do DD at the moment and I was thinking about adding UE. But I am concern it is going to be too complicating/stressful.
It is a little complicated and stressful since you're doubling the notifications. You just have to be very aware of your surroundings. I only use one phone

You must appear in the insurance otherwise they will deny you.

I guess you could say the mileage tracking is similar, but Solo offers more features that those other apps don't have like pay guarantee
Dispatch in Las Vegas is virtually gone losing Sherwin Williams paint stores. Spark now has Sherwin Williams and has added non-food stores. Grocery shop & deliver can be a real pain. GoPuff is not good unless you live near a warehouse and like dealing with Stoners.
Some of the smaller apps just aren't good enough, but there may be a couple worth delivering for

Find the hotspot you're most comfortable in and can make the most money and then choose whichever DoorDash zone that happens to be

@@PhoenixDeliveries you should try it, I do gopuff here in nyc and the warehouse is 2 minutes from where I live at. The down side is the app it self is garbage, when you call support they are not professional, plus waiting for a pickup it get you sleepy 🥱
