Just found your channel today. I love your approach to the work required and how you present. I have an XM Ute project so I’ll be watching with keen interest.
fun job lol yep it grows once you open the box done plenty of rust repairs over the years i found a better way to pop the spot welds using a belt/ finger sander sand down the spot weld till your almost through the top layer and then use a chisel or spot weld splitter they come apart a lot easier might want to fit the new hand brake cable while you have the torque box off
I can't get used to the driver's side. Being on my passenger side. You've been in Australia and I'm in the u. Yes. Just so different Every time you keep saying driver's side and you're working on the pass your side. It's just wrong to me😂😂😂😂

I have considered how confusing that could be for those of you who drive on the wrong side of the road. 😉
its because of sword fighting , and an excellent reason to drive on this side .
What ford is it model from
Australian built, 1964 XM Ford Falcon. Similar to US, Argentinean etc. models, I believe.
Some things are just bad designs. Now that you look at them over the years.
Absolutely, these torque boxes are an afterthought by Ford, so case in point.
