People were actually complaining about that scene, as if sand man couldn’t kill spider-man anytime he wants, the only reason he doesn’t is because he’s a good man.
Idk how you missed the point. Whether Sandman was going to kill him or not irrelevant because either way, Peter would've been dead unless Miles saved him. And people don't like that and it just plays into the theory that Peter is significantly weaker.
