I have over 120+ hours logged in the game. 2 saves, one new game plus and I love the game still. After all this time spent I still love the game even though I wish there were some simple things added. One of the things I wish was in the game was an endless mode like in the Arkham games where you can really test your combat abilities. Waves and waves of enemies with maybe some bonus objectives with certain take downs or ability goals. Missions catered more towards stealth and the use of web lines and miles’ camouflage. I just think after you finish the main story and side missions there’s more that could’ve been there to justify the “ultimate” levels and really give you a chance to flex your traversal, stealth, and combat prowess after you’ve completed everything else. Other than that I do think there could have been more variation in crimes. Not so much enemy beating up and more simple things like delivering a package or a web swing/wing time trial to build player knowledge of the map. All in all I love the game just wish there were some post story quality of life additions.

Damn insomniac works really fast and do you think Wolverine will release in fall 2025

No. In the insomniac leaks we saw how finished Wolverine is. It was no where near finished enough to cause them to rush the game. I'll watch the video and maybe I'm wrong and you point that out, but considering how insomniac also arent afraid of pushing back deadlines and they set Wolverine for some point in 2025 with no specific release date, I dont see how it couldve affected SM2.

It’s absolutely love this game so much, and yes, I do acknowledge that it is not perfect, but it is, for me, one of the best games I’ve played and I really enjoyed the story and time I spent playing it. Its also think it’s important to remember that Insomniac also released the Miles spin off in 2020. So that means that after finishing the first game, they were working on this game, Miles’ game, and the wolverine game. They also worked on the Ratchet and Clank game that came out during that time period. That’s a lot of work. I’m not sure how much that could’ve effected the development of SM2, but there is the possibility that it could have been a factor. Tangent aside, this was a good video.

I think they put too much pressure on themselves shouldve taken everything at a slower pace maybe only put a small percentage of there team on wolverine and most onto Spider-Man

So, the general MCU problem. Everyone became joke machines. Every serious scene is under cut with a joke. Which was charming but over done. Drax is a great example of this, as the poster says, in GoG 1 he was a serious warrior, but then he came a completely doofus.

A bit of comic relief is one thing, but yeah, they went wayy too far.
