Dollar Tree sold furniture when I was a child and then they did away with it for years and I was so glad when they brought it back again a few years again in my area when they expanded. I was overjoyed. I have some that my mother bought that is white with pink flowers from Dollar Tree from when I was a child. I made some last year myself that I painted to look just like it. I would like to buy some from there again to paint to look like the original set for nostalgia's sake.

A remarkable transformation! My only suggestion is that you had used your Dremel tool to make those chair backs smaller as well as the seats--the proportions of these furniture pieces are so off! But what you did inspired me to redo some of my own pieces. Thanks! 👍

if you have the dremel, you can also use a sanding cylinder to "thin" the back of the chair also, just be careful not to go so far that you damage the spindels.. also sometimes these chairs are just put together lopsided. you can soak them in water and take them apart and reassemble them. the dremel will sand away clumps of glue and toothpicks will make new spindles if they get broken. fill in uncentered spindle drill holes with wood putty let dry and start again. there is a lot of potential in those little chairs.

He did a good job on that furniture from Dollar tree cuz it's all on painted and you could do it like that you could do it shabby chic and the legs look like they came with the table already even though you had to put new legs on it cuz it was so short and funny looking but it's cute it's beautiful and your tea set does match it really pretty it's cute now you just need like us Hispanic people like a beautiful crochet little tiny tablecloth on it just like a little runner or something just in the middle I have a lot of those they're tiny like for doll houses but that's cute
