    Paint techniques video
Watch me turn a cheap $1 dresser from the Dollar Tree into a beautiful piece of furniture with decoupage paper drawers. I used simple painting techniques to complete the transformation.
I really love how this turned out. I will definitely be doing more Dollar Tree furniture flips.
I have been toiling away learning how to film and edit videos for RUclips. I have lots of projects planned ranging from abandoned miniatures, furniture makeovers, accessories, kits and Dollhouse Miniatures in multiple scales. I also have a large Harry Potter build planned for 1" scale.
Please Like, Comment & Subscribe to support my efforts and so you don't miss out on future videos.
    Thank you,

Whenever I decoupage - apply paper with Mod Podge - I use a technique of pre relaxing the paper. Which simply means I get it wet. I've done this on large pieces of furniture and it works beautifully. So for paper as thin as what you used and on something that small, I would just spray the paper front and back with water and dab off excess moisture with a paper towel. Then apply the Mod Podge as you normally would. Now the paper and the Mod Podge dry at the same rate. And if I am decoupaging a large area, I pre cut the paper to the size I need. Soak the paper in a sink or tub filled with a few inches of water. When you put the paper in the water it will start to curl up. Leave the paper in the water a little longer until it relaxes, uncurls and lays flat again. Dab it off front and back on a towel and apply with Mod Pidge as you normally would. Trust the process, everything will dry flat. The paper stretches a bit when its wet, so if I need to trim it back to an edge I use a sanding block. Just make sure its completely dry before you try to sand it.

Great tips! Thank you. I'll definitely do more decoupage in the future.

The knobs take very little time to print because they're so short. I think just a few minutes but I haven't printed any in a while. I'm not great with technology so I'll have to pay more attention to my 3d printer when I have more time.
