- Come check out how I did a quick and simple DIY makeover (on a tight budget!) with this thrifted dollhouse! I spent a total of $37, and that includes the $15 dollhouse I scored off Craigslist! I toned down the pink and scraped off a TON of stubborn wallpaper to achieve an adorable, shabby chic, cottage style townhouse! Selah absolutely loves her new budget dollhouse and all the fun DIY furniture and accessory pieces inside. I hope you enjoy the budget makeover and tour! Have a great weekend!

Lindsey, you are an amazing artist. Your imagination and attention to detail transformed that dollhouse from drab to fab! I would like to move into that sweet dollhouse myself. Selah is a lucky little girl to have a mom who puts so much love, heart, and soul into creating a beautiful home for the two of you and for Selah's dolls. Love that - drab to fab! :) I would totally move into any of my dollhouses if I could; they are cuter than my regular-sized house sometimes! I am so glad to hear that not only you enjoy my channel, but your granddaughter does too. :) I hope you both have an amazing weekend!
I loved my dollhouse as a little girl and had one in my 20's when I lived in an apartment and it made up for what I couldn't do in my own home. Now I'm in my 40's and recently found 2 huge houses and I decided to redo them. The Victorian style for me and the second is more early American Prairie style for my granddaughters.
A dollar store sponge works well for mattresses on dollbeds
That's exactly why I got into dollhouses again in my adult life! So much easier to decorate than redoing my whole regular-sized home. And cheaper too! The American Prairie style one sounds like fun! And great idea for a sponge as a mattress; I was trying to use items I already had to keep my costs down for this one!
My daughter of 33 years has died. This video has been beyond help that I have sought. Thank you so much.

I LOVE this dollhouse makeover! I'm so impressed with how much $ you saved and it turned out so beautiful. I love your shingles because I made a dollhouse for my girls too but used clippings of sandpaper. It looks very realistic but my girls found a way to quickly rub them off, ha ha. Yours looks like it will last a long, long time.

This is the perfect shape dollhouse to put on a turntable so that you can enjoy the cute front but then spin around to play with 🥰

@@ourdiyary the one I got at a yard sale looks homemade like they took the turning base from some old dining table serving thing and attached a larger plywood round on top,I only paid a dollar😀but you’re so handy you could make one.

Absolutely beautiful! You have one happy little girl there. I never did have a dollhouse, but my mother made canopy beds, vanity dressers with stools etc., for mine and my sister’s Barbie dolls...one set for each doll. She did an amazing job and that’s a memory that has stayed with me. Good job! 😊🌸🏡

Your daughter will cry and thank you for this when she gets older as she sees this video . Unfortunately i don’t have a bond with my mother anymore and she used to make me doll things like that when I was little . I was very emotional watching this and your a great mom.

BEAUTIFUL!!! WOW! The tree, shingles, window valance, hardwood floors, doiley for a rug, the pic frames with the 2 of you, the sweet treasure chest for toys, OMGoodness! I've never been into dollhouses but I want one now! 😁 & when Selah came in to see it, I lost it, started crying like a baby!!! 😭 How precious the 2 of you are! The dollhouse turned out beautiful! I wanted to move right in. You did an amazing job! I love the tree idea! I loved all the colors. It is a sweet coincidence, that all the brass furniture was the same as a set I bought at goodwill in a tin, when my 18 year old daughter was 3. I saved it for a year and then bought her a dollhouse at goodwill. We used that same furniture and even more of it. We had the bird in the birdcage, he is now a Christmas ornament!! I so enjoyed this video ❤️❤️❤️.
