I would just like to say, that I watched your videos looking for the name of a replacement piece of trim for a four panel 1983 Ford F-150 OBS style truck. And at the end of your video you've got a phone number that you show for people to call for technical support. I called that number, and while you couldn't help me necessarily because it's just a obscure and probably impossible to find piece of trim, you still have gone above and beyond by just simply leaving a phone number, and making yourself available to people who are DIY'ers. Not often that people who create content through this medium are out there trying to do much more than gain some views, trying to monetize their channel. You're a different kind of content creator than I've ever found personally on here. It's a great service that you offer, and while I'll probably never ever do anymore automotive window work, you've gained a subscriber until either myself or RUclips one, are long gone.
@@autoglassamerica so I tried this and found out that it does have the bottom and top plastic channel rails. However I did not find a specific indent where the window could come out. Instead I had to pick it up and slightly tilt to the back to another rail channel then I was able to remove the window.
Early Xmas morning I had my 1997 F-150 idling to warm up. I locked the doors knowing I had a spare key and went back in my house. When I came back I was shocked to find that my key would not work! All the years of using the automatic button and never using the door key, the locks were jammed. I had to bust out my slider and crawl in. Good thing I'm skinny.
Brad, thanks in advance for a great, to the point, how-to. I am learning to do things little by little on my 1998 Ford F150 XLT ext cab. So my slider was broken, I have a brand new one. Do you have to take the whole back window out? or can I just replace it inside the truck? I know this might be dumb but there it is. I am going to give it a try tomorrow hopefully. Ain't no harm in trying. Shasta here, Richmond, VA area.
got a question 1999 F 150 currently has a slider in it but driver side is broke. wondering if I can change the rear window to a single sheet of glass out of a donor truck ,ty.
I hav n 06 FX4 and only the passenger side glass is broken. It has the power middle power slider. Do I have to replace the entire thing or can I get away with just replacing the single pane?? Thank
Go to bradsautoglass.com. Click on Ford then click on your model and year. Once you find the part that you need click on the photo of the part. Please be sure to read the entire item description and watch the installation video before you purchase. THANKS
Hey Brad, I have a 03 lightning with a rear slider. Yesterday while closing the slider it caught the bottom weather seal, which was dry rotted, and tore it most of its length. Can I remove the slider glass by following your steps in reverse? And where could I get the proper seals?
I have a 2012 F150 and the center sliding glass has in the lower right part of the glass a black plastic cover that covers two brass pieces that have little fingers on it. Are you familiar with this?
On mine, I need the black cover plate and one of the two electrical contacts. Ford doesn't sell either piece and I think I could get these two parts off a damaged glass. Any ideas? Thanks
will this install also work for a 1995 f150. had the slider busted out and dont want to replace the whole thing
Any vids on an 87 f150 slider?
Not at this time

I have a 83 f150 xlt . My sliding lower widow track fills up with water. What does 4 window vented slider mean? Are there vent holes I should clean.
Yes there are a number of vent hole and they must be clean and clear of any dirt and debris and that's usually the source of the issue
@@autoglassamerica thanks! Love your videos. Hope your shoulder is ok.🤠

Hey Brad, can I use your replacement slider for my FX4 with a power slider?
I have a 2012 F150 and the center sliding glass has in the lower right part of the glass a black plastic cover that covers two brass pieces that have little fingers on it. Are you familiar with this?
Yes they are the electrical contacts for the rear window defroster
