A general tip: If you want to coat your veggies in oil and then salt and pepper, do it in a bowl. If you drizzle it over on a sheet pan like they're showing here, you're gonna waste way to much oil and everything isn't gonna be coated properly. It might be an extra dish to wash but it's worth it.
@@Evija3000 I'm guessing you're not Asian. I've had rice every day, every meal for months before BUT with different stuff every time. Rice is more of a filler, that has no taste, you eat it with stuff.
@@gwot I get the idea, but I prefer fillers that have some taste like potatoes or buckwheat, at least to eat multiple days in a row. Also yes I'm not Asian, but European and I'm just more used to things like potatoes and I know many variations and meals to do with them. Not so much with rice.
I only made it half way through the video and I'm hooked. She's right. It's because the condensation that happens when hot food is covered, will spoil the food faster. So it won't last as long and yes, to the person who asked if it gets runny, depending on the food, it can mess with the consistency.

The USDA says you can leave cooked meat in the fridge 3-4 days, I doubt buzzfeed wants to be responsible if they contradict that and someone gets sick. Even if it's unlikely that someone would get sick.
@@bobbob2932 Oh wow that actually does make sense. I just thought that since friday is part of the weekend, Buzzfeed assumed that we get more to time cook or just go out.

Doesn’t rice turn very quickly!? Iv had food poisoning of it before that’s what put me of food prepping it all good showing what u cook an putting it in fridge but when an what’s the best way to keep it fresh
I just saw ur food prep video and now watching them all! I need help bad. Whey protein makes me so tired. What can I do not to get tired? Or is this it?
Everything looks delicious. But keeping it for Wednesday and Thursday? Will they not spoil too much? I think keeping it for 2 days would be better than for 4. Don't you think? :)🤔🤔🤔
I dont even care about calorie intake and all that but im doing this to save time and money. Buy ingredients on Fridays and cook it by Sunday. 2 hours for 3 dishes. Ill just throw in rice and pack it to work
I have a question: is meal prep healthy and fresh? I mean you're prepping in advance for entire week and store it in the fridge. When you eat straight outta fridge everyday, is that fresh healthy meal? Someone please answer
Every looks so delicious and healthy. I'm definitely trying more than one recipe. Thank you so much. Also, for the hummus, did you intentionally skip the 'Tahini' (sesame seed paste, it's a key ingredient).

Exactly what I've been doing for years....
The ability to eat the same thing everyday for a week is a superpower
Yeah, I'll try food prepping, but it will definitely NOT contain rice multiple days in a row.
These are for 3-4 days, not a whole week

You have to let food cool uncovered before putting in the refrigerator. Especially when meal prepping! Thank me later.
