When this song is about Chief the "legend" is chief himself, but when it's about Noble Six, the legend is what Six managed to achieve in a single event. When Reach needed him to destroy the Long Night of Solace, he did it. When the people of Reach needed to be Evacuated from New Alexandria he did it. When the Pillar of Autumn needed to escape Reach, he did it. When given the chance to fight the Covenant after the battle of Reach he rejected it, he would let his legend sit with Reach forever. That is truly a legend who'll never die
