Sometimes it's hard to believe so many fans hated the Arbiter's introduction in H2. Even back then, I didn't get it. But back then I loved playing as Elites more than a Spartan :p.
Playable elites and the arbiter are part of what made Halo2/3 so stand out and unique. The Arbiter is (probably) a stronger protagonist than master chief, and it's a shame we rarely see anything of him these days.
So the Arbiter went from killing Billions of humans to humanity’s greatest Allie. That is epic.
