The secure boot option isn’t appearing to me
Thank you so much
Please is secure boot mode
The same just like rooting for Android and jailbreaking for iphones.
Please I have hp ProBook 4431s
I can't find the secure mode settings
No
bro ur a fucking legend man i was about to throw my pc out the 8th story window.
lmao glad it worked!
Helped out bro thanks
Awesome!
For me after I click restart it restarts then stays on a black screen :( I’m not sure what to do
This might not work in windows 11.
Great video man, but unfortunately for me i only have to options for my secure boot: Standard and Custom. There is no disable option for me.
Ahh; Might need to make an admin password if there's not already one set. Some systems have secure boot greyed out and you can't change it until you make an admin password
you’re gonna wanna find the other secure boot option theres 2
do you move around with your arrow keys? because i didnt see your cursor move
Yes, you use the arrow keys in the BIOS menu
Thx i finnaly can trun that thing ON and install the windows 11.
Nice!!
My bios mode is on uefi and when ever I click uefi firmware settings and restart, my bios doesn’t change, is there anyway I can fix this?
Did you apply settings? Most bios don’t apply settings till you save
@@insanitylol how do you save the settings?
Hey man, Im having a problem of that option not being available in my BIOS. I have the option of "Delete all Secure Boot variables" and "Administrator Password" under the Security tab. Looking online people are saying that they bricked their PC doing this option. So im very unsure about doing it.
There's tons of stuff that could be causing the differences. I'd do more research and try to find a tutorial/guidance that matches what you have.
I did a bunch of research on the "delete all secure boot variables" and everyone was saying that it would brick your PC or "you wouldnt be able to boot anything" but i just did it and it worked so if anyone else is having this problem it worked for me.
Hey man, i’ve only got 2 options, custom and standard so pretty confused and don’t wanna mess anything up, if you could help that would be awesome!
Same here
HEY! Late but to get the other options..
1: Go to security
2: Go to supervisor password
3: Hit ENTER and type in any easy to remember 4 digit code
4: Hit ENTER again and repeat that gide in the second box
5: Hit ENTER a final time and BOOM
6: Reenter that passcode for User and HDDO
7: Go to Boot and use UEFI
8: Below UEFI, Secure Boot should now be open and you can disable it from there.
@@NPClown after i did that, i am getting blue Screens :( pls help
Oh nooo ):
That clap scared me 🙄
Yea I started cutting it out in the newer ones hahaha
Hello i have asus laptop and i have aptio bios. Can i turn it to asus UEFI bios utility.
The main point is can i turn the old design bios to modern one? Sorry if my question is kinda dumb. I think it's should be related to my motherboard
so, i have a situation:
i have a gigabyte z270 with an i7 7700, and as imbecile tried to check compatibility to install win11.
which included to enable the secure boot option.
option that is not supported by that version of the cpu.
so, i cannot pass the POST check, and access the bios.
tried to reset the bios (removing the battery, flipping upside down the battery, jumping the clear cmos, etc) and still, this option is enabled, and can't access the bios.
the point is, the series 270 does not support the newer cpus, so i can't ask a friend for a newer cpu.
does anyone know how to access to the bios, (maybe removing also the cpu, some friend recommended)?? or any other solution to actually reset all bios setups to factory default settings, disabling secure boot?
thanks
Have you tried googling your computer model and how to access bios?
I am wanting to turn it off to give 0 delay on my controller by overclock, do you know if it is safe to turn it off and leave it off?
Not sure.
legend
; )
I have set a supervisor password but secure boot mode is still grayed out. Do you know any reasons why?
Might not be the correct password. Might be disabled by device manufacturer. Could be a few things : /
Hey man when i get into that menu after restarting twice i cant use my mouse or keyboard to select anything in the menu it wont let me
Mmm try this: www.quora.com/How-can-I-fix-my-mouse-and-keyboard-if-they%E2%80%99re-not-working-after-the-Kali-Linux-live-boot
It just turns my monitor off until I force restart my entire pc by holding the button down on my computer
Can you help me? I can't find the secure boot option. And i deleted windows to download linux but it won't work unless I disable secure boot
There could be different keys to get into secure boot. Try googling your computer model to see if it has different ones that I said in the video
Hi, can you help me, please. I have a problem in the bios menu, I can't find the cecure boot. knowing that the laptop is UEFI. Thank you
Will it let you get to that menu, the options just not there?
@@self-taughtdev Unfortunately it is not present
Mehdi Nazari you fix it?
Ty
np!
I have gaming pc will hurt my graphics card by any chance ? Can I turn back on after?
Shouldn't hurt your graphics card and yes you can turn it back on. You'll just have to go through this process again and turn it on instead of off lol
when i hold shift and restart my laptop in troubleshoot it doesn't have the UEFI firmware settings what should i do ???
0:46
Ahh sorry, I see what you meant now. You probably figured it out by now but check if you even have UEFI settings:
-type MSINFO on Cortana's search field and press Enter. On the BIOS Mode parameter, the corresponding value should be set to UEFI.
I fucking love you
Awe thanks bud 👍
How do I disable it on the new bios menu?
I will make a video on how to do that.
Thx
np
In some computers like mine HP there is not supervisor password but there is administrator password. Also if i make an administrator password the secure boot option is still grayed out although i am in UEFI mode. is there a solution for this?
I have the same problem. (Laptop from acer) I can't check out, if its UEFI or not, because i dont know the password and i want to reset the password with hirens boot cd.
Not 100% sure : / I think I remember HP making it really hard to boot another OS than the one that came on it.
is
asus motherboard H87M plus has eufi aur bios. and can it convert ti eufi??? and how
Not sure : /
Yo anyone else have a problem with their up and down arrow keys not working / know how to fix it?
Your arrow keys aren't working and you can't navigate? Or the option is 'greyed out' and you can't get to it? If it's the ladder you just need to set an admin password (DO NOT LOSE THIS PASSWORD).
all is right till secure boot mode , cms enabled ( all set to uefi only) , boot sequence set up but after save nd exiting boot menu , my device enters gnu grub . i have seen a lot of tutorial [ using ls , etc commands ] but none lets me exit the gnu grub . got any solutions ??
I do not sadly :/
reset comp early'r day
Is doing this for overclocking a controller safe?
Not sure lol
There is your like thx ❤❤❤❤
Glad it helped! : )

Can you turn secure boot mode back on?
@@self-taughtdev I have a Samsung laptop which is kinda old. Also I don't have any options like secure boot mode
I cannot find the uef setting thing is there a reason , I really suck with pcs :(
Your pc might not have uefi mode.
