Hi thanks for trying to help but it's not everyone that's got your type of BIOS system. Mine hasn't got "advance" on the menu.
Still useful 6 years away. Awesome
1:30 It's impressive how you have an actual recording of the Bios screen, you don't see that often on RUclips
I am using a Toshiba Satellite Pro R850-16H laptop model. I am not able to change any setting in the bios except date and time.
When starting desktop, everytime I press the esc key or del key or f10 or 2 key my monitor stops at black screen and won't show anything
did you fix it now
@@jeraldinedestrezabolonos69 Settings -> Update And Security -> Advanced Options -> Restart
enjoy.
When I find the option, it's grayed out and I can't select it.
Go to Key Bindings/Key Management. Save secure boot keys to a location(Press OK if Ok is shown at the time of saving). Then Clear Secure Boot keys. Then get out from BIOS without saving anything. This will disable Secure boot.
@@nightgaming466 tried that, some weird terminal "gnu grub" opens, but no avira... omg this is so bad
Avira is another matter. The instruction is for Windows setup in Legacy mode
Night Star but key management is also grayed out
@@dragontechroyale4k447 Perhaps another brand or model you are using. I used this option in Z370 Asus Prime Mother board
What a great demo..articulate all the way ....BUT, my Asus Bios shows secure boot enabled only and its greyed out . Can't find a way to disable it. Does disabling it make it easier to install Win 10? What is the purpose of disabling it?
Plz someone help me here... I've disabled secure boot from bios.. But when I open system information its says that its still on and I'm sure its disabled from bios.. Plz help I want it disabled completely.

Greetings,
I recently installed a replacement motherboard successfully into a HP17 notebook that I inherited. It powers up again. However the notebook stays in "Preparing Automatic Repair" Loop. Is the motherboard Win8 install Exclusive per model? Will I need a Win8 Win10 USB drive install media? I'd like to install Win7 but doubt the hardware will support it... 😒
I disabled secure boot exited bios and only comes up with blue screen now
HP Probook 4535s no option for secure boot
I don't see anything in the Advance tab about secure boot.
If you can kindly elaborate, I will do my best to assist.
Every time I boot up my desktop pc it would 1st load to the HP screen where it would ask me if I want to press F9 to get to the boot order sequence. Press F10 to get into the bios settings. Press F11 for recovery, or F12 for LAN booting. And if I don't press anything it loads up to the Phoenix Award bios V.6 screen where it asks to press F1 to continue normal boot to the operating system or press F12 to get into bios settings. I just want to get rid of that Phoenix Award bios V.6 screen and boot directly into the operating system. To make matters even worse when I go into the bios screen and set my boot sequence to start 1st from the hard disk, I would save the settings and exit from the bios, but after I shut down the computer and reuse it again later on, the boot sequence would start from LAN, CD Drive, then USB portable, and finally hard disk. It's like the boot sequence weren't even saved in the bios. Do you think it's because of the CMOS battery could be dying out? I read online that to stop the Phoenix award bios v.6 screen to show up, I would have to go into the bios settings and disable secure boot, but when I go in there I don't see anything in the advance tab about disabling or enabling secure boot.
can you try it on Asus laptop bios version 302 please because when i disabled secure boot the "Launch CSM" isn't still there and i think it has to do something with removing UEFI or something

Heres a good ? for you.. win 7 pro bios, under security tab, an entry reads " requires POP on system boot" status = yes. What does the POP mean? If you reset a bios - jumper, or remove CMOS battery, then reinstall it, will the reset bios have an admistrators p/word removed? Will the allowable "boot from" device list be reset, to include USB? Thanks

Just a question, sorry if it sounds stupid. Will disabling secure boot result to the PC booting in legacy mode? Like... once I disable secure boot, can I still boot in UEFI? Or will it boot in legacy mode? Thanks!
Your computer will have no problems because it just changes settings and they are not so so important !
