Thank you so much for this video. You just helped me import 332565 rows of data from excel to sql server after almost 3 days of being stuck and searching for solution. Thank you.
Using SQL Server 2016. Was required by my enterprise admins to upgrade my older version of MS Office to 2019. Everything seemed to be working fine until I went to load data using the import wizard as you were showing in this video. Same error messages. Your solution was exactly what I needed to fix the situation, and it worked on the first try. Thanks for posting this!
My goodness. Great job. I spend several days to import data from excell. You solved my problem. Thank you so much. May the good God bless you and keep you through out your life.
This video right here is the solution I really need. I've been encountering this for over four hours and this video proferred the solution. Thank you, boss!
Ah Senior man, he have no idea how much you have saved me with this solution. I don try taya nothing until this. I have been able to upload my files now.
I know people in the comment have already said this but thank you so so so so much! Your video was straight to the point and easy to follow. It was very detailed and illustrated at the right pace. Again, thank you so so so much. You've helped many lives out there (including me!) Wishing you a best life ahead!!!!
My bruddah! You saved me from going insane. I also wanted to mention that your instructions were actually working for me NOT with the server but WITH THE SQL server DEVELOER version.
Thant's amazing, I spent whole day, watched numerous videos related to this issue, but couldn't solve this mystery. Your instructions are so easy to follow, and to the point. Thank you so much for all your time, and help, much appreciated.
You've gained a new subscriber for sure! After spending more than 5 hours attempting to overcome this challenge, your solution worked exceptionally well.
I cannot thank you enough for having shared this!!! I am starting my journey in learning Data Analytics and this really helped me out. I was getting frustrated already!
Sir , You are Genious .. i am trying to upload the data.. finding so much trouble in it .. Your vedio sovled all my problems ... GOD BLESS YOU .... 😘😘😘😇🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍🤩🤩
You are a real life saver. Thanks sooo much. I’ve been battling this issue for two days wow! This solved it straight up. I put my files in 97-2003 format and it worked but I lost so much data my queries weren’t making any sense. Thank you so much for solving my problem
Thanks a lot for this, very helpful! However now when I import this data, I count the number of rows in SQL, and it’s more than the number of rows in the original excel file. Do you know why this is?
Great video my friend. I encountered another thing while trying to import and in the "Destination" dropdown, there's no "SQL Server Native Client 11.0". Since I'm new to Databases I don't know if I need to send the data there or another place. Any thoughts on that or on how to get the Native Client option to appear? Much respect and appreciation to you.
@@TheOyinbooke Dear Oyinbooke, I found this on the MS website: "The SQL Server Native Client (often abbreviated SNAC) has been removed from SQL Server 2022 (16.x) and SQL Server Management Studio 19 (SSMS). The SQL Server Native Client (SQLNCLI or SQLNCLI11) and the legacy Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server (SQLOLEDB) are not recommended for new application development. Switch to the new Microsoft OLE DB Driver (MSOLEDBSQL) for SQL Server or the latest Microsoft ODBC Driver for SQL Server going forward. For SQLNCLI that ships as a component of SQL Server Database Engine (versions 2012 through 2019), see this Support Lifecycle exception." UPDATE: For destination I selected "OLE DB Provider for SQL Server" and worked perfectly, the same steps as your video with SQL Server Native Client 11.0
Thank you, if I need to generate more excel files with more information respecting the tables I can continue to increase the database with more information? or the example you indicate is linked to work in a single excel file?
