Adam, you have no idea how this is very helpful to me. Especially that I'm in a new project that has to work with everything about Azure. I used to study in Microsoft website for the Data Engineering certifications and all of these terms are very new to me that I'm losing hope with being able to understand it fully. I'm so glad that I stumbled upon your channel in hopes of understanding all of this and you're the only one I watch when I need help. All your videos have helped me even get a promotion at work. I thank you from the deepest bottom of my heart and I hope you continue making this! I support you with all my might! (Sorry for my bad english)

I absolutely love your tutorials. So very informative. Is there any chance you might do a tutorial on converting an AVRO file that was stored in a Data Lake, to a CSV that can be stored in the SQL DB? This seems like it should be a pretty straight forward out-of-the-box solution, but the AVRO body looks like it needs to be decoded in Data Factory first. Thank you!

I might in future just to cover entire ADF scope of features but I have some strong opinions on SSIS. I just personally think there are much better options available in the cloud instead of SSIS. I only use SSIS if I do 'lift-up' from existing solutions, I never use it for new projects.

For example, presently I'm using the similar example as you have taken in this video with addition of few date columns. The pipeline fails since my target columns are of date type in SQL database (mapped from the date values in the source csv). I presume some kind of specifiers/transformation would be needed for the same but not quite sure presently. Could you point out if possible?

While copying a JSON file from AWS S3 bucket to Azure SQL I kept getting errors saying my datasets cannot be based in AWS and I kept using the same source dataset in Source and Sink. Your tutorial made a lot of sense of why I should start with the connections first, then datasets (3rd being in memory) and selecting those for the copy activity! The MS UI is not intuitive to new users and your tutorial helped me so much!

@@AdamMarczakYT The data has been imported, all 450 rows! Had an issue with the import Dataset only reading the JSON array as 1 object, so I cleared the mapping, imported the schema, then checked the Collection Reference checkbox on the first Data object row and that seemed to fix it! Had another issue with an INT in JSON not in quotes and others being "" for null, so it wasnt mapping in SQL to an INT or string very nice so I just unchecked that column for now until I can meet with the client on the JSON formatting.
