I don't really consider it a "Filter", its mostly just to keep the moss wet.

I tried the colorful Fittonia in the aquarium but it didn't last long. as a swamp plant, however, super nice ... :o)

I have an empty tank with all hardscape as well as hang up filter, air pomp with colorful led lights and all plants as in here, but I don't know if I can use a hang up filter or sponge filter with water surface agitation in combination with a mistmaker too?

How to take care of those plants? Don't they need co2? What liquids should we use to keep them healthy? Wich fish to add?
They aren’t under water so they do not need CO2. They also don’t generally need fertilizer.

But won’t that plant die if its separated from its main roots?
Nope :)
This pot was 4 separate plants but you can also propagate fittonia without the roots.
