Your airline and industry knowledge is really cool. You make this more interesting than loads of 'watch me eat and sleep' video reviews. Great stuff.
Thanks, Bunty for the wonderful feedback. I am trying hard to add more and more helpful information into the videos to make both buying airline tickets, more affordable and ensuring people get the most out of their travel. I must confess for me, the thrill of travelling is all about the journey, not necessarily the destination.
Just discovered your channel mate. A great video, you come over well and seem like a sound geezer👍
thanks for watching the channel and I appreciate your positive feedback. I’m passionate about aviation and travel and just love to share what I find. thanks again.
good report , wish you did a long haul on GF
Thanks. I love your idea of doing a review of Qantas long-haul. Let me see what I can do.!
Why don’t they fly to Australia any more? Great report - it will be interesting to see what the future holds- can’t be easy trying to go against those other big carriers! And the menu thing- they could so easily go eco friendly and jigs add that to the IFE system- save some paper but also provide details
Some great ideas Emily you are so right.
my understanding they dropped Australia because they were struggling to make it pay, but that could’ve had a lot to do with the cost and inconvenience of stopping in Singapore. A direct service would be considerably more economical as long as it was connecting with multiple European ports. Turkish Airlines has announced Melbourne Istanbul, but that two will be via Singapore initially, but they intend to go direct when they have new aircraft arrive.
Worst ever business class in Gulf air they are still using old aircraft’s very sad will never travel again
gosh, that’s disappointing to hear. can I ask you what aircraft type and what sector?
