Josh i like your videos but here I have to say something; this country has continuously used torture on its citizen including on children. Its human rights track record is tragic. The last thing we all should do is give them attention and gloat about their beautiful airport. God knows how it was built and at what tragic price. Nothing personal. Cheers

There are too many bloggers reviewing Business Class on You Tube - a true assessment of an airline’s service is how it treats its economy class passengers
That’s why 80% of my flights are in Economy Class :)
The new airport is definitely a huge improvement over the old one. Their regional Business Class also looks really nice 👍🏻

3.The new airport feels minimal and abstract design and is so cool!
4.Philippinos are so warm and friendly people!
Tbh me too, I like how he review everything truely, he don't over act while reviewing. If smth is wrong he will roundly say it and if smth is good he will say it too. That's what makes reviews more legit & fun to read or see yk.

Nice to see Gulf Air are finding there way again, they became the forgotten airline with rise of the super carrier's in the middle east. Looks like a good product, and the new airport is absolutely beautiful. I'm liking the haircut by the way! Stay safe and thanks for keeping us all entertained

Took the same flight, 14 years ago. Different plane (B 767 or maybe an old plane such as a Mcdonnell Douglas) and a different airport. Great looking airport, wonderful video. Wish l could do the same now.

What a review, airport truly beautiful
Thanks for this very good video on my favourite airline. I am living in Thailand and during pre this pandemic times I flew on GF at least 2 or 3 times to Frankfurt to see my Mum. Always very good personal experience with the cabin crew. Some of the pursers have even remembered me. Great airline. Once I shall have my jabs against this terrible pandemic I will be back. Gone go from Black to Gold but will be up there again soon. Thanks for showing the new lounge! Vielen Dank. Super!

The new terminal in Bahrain looks amazing. It seems like Gulf Air & Bahrain Airport have done well to co-ordinate a new fleet and terminal to come online at a similar to give the best passenger experience. I’m looking forward to visiting in the future! ✈️

Impressed with how you were able to wear a hooded sweatshirt, black no less, in a sunny Bahrain without drowning in sweat, even when its not the doldrums of summer there yet.
It's not even hot yet here, in the afternoon it's about 27° while at night it drops to 17°

You will be pleased to know LHR is finally trialing scanners that you can leave liquids and electronics in you bag at security
They were trialling the new scanners at Heathrow, T2, where you aren’t required to take out your water or electronics when going through security however it was never implemented. That was some years ago, maybe someone knows the reasons?

I think the "brown" on the retro livery is actually Qatari maroon...the red and green would be Oman and Abu Dhabi, red would be Bahrain - those four states were the owners of GF.

Great video as always, Josh! What are the differences in security that allow you to not have to empty out laptops & liquids?
Some airlines r restricted! Only they will allow liquids which u buy from duty free due to some security issues or they take dangerous goods very seriously!
They have the latest generation x-ray scanners which they don't have at Heathrow yet for example. I believe Amsterdam has the same.
