In this video we take a look at Amp Locker by Audio Assault and their integration of Neural Amp Modeler Profiles into their plugin! It is a cool feature, but there is a catch. Regardless of how I feel about it I am happy to see NAM in more products.

It's a free extra for our Snapshot Player/Maker users which is not AI and I developed the algorithm for, but since the amount of publicly available snapshots is so low, i thought it would be nice for the users to be able to use nam profiles as well. Snapshot player is free if you get the NAM player or the other way round aswell.
Since snapshots are dsp based they have quite a few advantages over AI based ones. Also you had both cabs enabled when you were playing with the mic.

I can tell you all that Audio Assault have the best support service out there and they have awesome amp plugins for low prices !
I really like Audio Assault products. They work really well on my older PC and with my even older interface. The pedals, amps, cabs, and post effects all sound good without taking up all of the processing power. In addition, they are always having sales, and their products are very reasonably priced. However, NAM is also reasonably priced.
I am an Audio Assault fanboy, so I have most of their stuff.
It is a slight bummer the NAM integration isn't free .. however .. $5 to be able to easily integrate NAM captures with 14 pedals/FX and 11 3D cabinets in the free version makes it the most flexible almost free option out there. And it supports stereo, unlike the stock NAM plugin.
Plus with cab packs recently on sale 5 for $5 or now 3 for $7.50, it's relatively affordable to collect a significant variety of 3D cabs. Given how much the speaker contributes to the tone and how cheap that is compared to the competition's cab packs, they really deserve to dominate the affordable end of the market.
Yes! Like I said, I'm a cheap. It isn't a bad deal at all. I am not a fan of their amps at the moment, but I dig their pedals and IRs
The big question is CPU. In Tonocracy I can use NAM in Stereo, too. But it doesn't help with CPU load, I even think 2 mono NAM instances work better on my setup, since I managed 4 NAMs, SS-11x and EZdrummer 2 at 128 samples without glitches. Most likely I will pay the 5 bucks though since I have many amps and IRs in Amp locker and they really provide updates frequently, listening to their users.

Genome is so much better by Two Notes. It also has NAM integration (with dual IR routing, exciter, pre eq, all that good stuff on top of NAM). I know it's not free, but it can be dirt cheap. For example I bought some 1$ IR from Two notes years ago in the past and now i got genome for free. That's an insane deal!

Heyo, I with this an content in general, i recommend that blur effect to be overall better cause it blurs alot of "not post to be blurred" stuff like fretboard, logos, etc, unless ur doing sponsoring idk but assume not. Also I'd add Tags and hashtags to each video, that usually always helps, keywords in the bottom of your description can be the one thing from stopping everything from being shown to search'ees? if that makes sense, I hope to get to the same level as you, then higher! hopefully lol, all love and just tryna help
Do you think their programmer work for free?...NAM might be free but their integration had to take some time and money. Plus, they will have to keep it up to date. And 5$, come on!

@@stevenkambach I am pretty cheap too! But I am not expecting everything to be handed to me for free. And sometime it even feels good to give a bit of money to a small company like Audio Assault for their great work and help them survive the plugins market!
Look, I get what you are saying but someone put a lot of their time and effort into creating these plugins.
Yes! That is why I emphasized that it isn't that much and this is just my opinion. They are still taking something I get for free and putting it behind a pay wall. I'm gonna stick with free for now.
