Sweating Bullets has to be the next Megadeth song !
I would agree
Yup
My favorite, well one of my faves 😎👍‼🔥
That and angry again I blame guitar hero lol
Foreclosure of a Dream.
The lyric about the Pied Piper who led the rats through the streets is an ode to a poem called The Pied Piper of Hamelin about a town being over run by rats and the people agree to pay the Pied Piper to get rid of them but then don't so he uses his pipe to lure the towns children away and dance like the Marionette if referring to the people being treated like puppets. This is my personal favorite by Megadeth but they other good stuff too.
Yes, exactly, it is an old tale from the German town of Hameln, pretty well known over here in Germany.
Sadly classic literature and history is no longer taught so I've noticed a lot of symbolism gets missed in reaction videos
Yeah @@allenruss2976
A great megadeth song with a good melody line "In My Darkest Hour"
This song is pretty amazing. Actually, the whole album is. Thanks for the reaction!
Please more megadeth I absolutely love them
Possibly one of their greatest tracks ever, you should react to Sweating Bullets - Megadeth next
This WHOLE album is 🔥. Youthanisia also. This album got me into Megadeth. Sweating Bullets, Captive honor, Countdown to extinction... so many bangers
For me it was the opposite.
Youthanasia got me into Megadeth and then Killing is my Business, and finally Countdown.
After Rust in Peace I found this album a little disappointing. Symphony is the standout track and I like Ashes in Your Mouth, but the rest left me cold.
As others have mentioned, check out Megadeth's Sweating Bullets. Another great song is Captive Honour or She wolf or Sin.
Check out Train of Consequences, In My Darkest Hour or Trust next.
This is one of my favourite songs by Megadeth, glad to see you enjoying it 😀 Just have to correct you on one thing regarding the chorus:
They're singing about the Pied Piper, a story where a piper saves a town from a rat infestation by playing his pipe and leading the rats away from the town. The analogy is that we're the rats and "the piper's tune" is the symphony of destruction and we're just swaying along with it and not questioning what's going on.
Great reaction ❤I can highly recommend "A tout le monde" by Megadeth. Really hits you in the feels ❤
Megadeth She wolf Rude Awakening live. You won't be disappointed
This song as well as the "Countdown to Extinction" album came out on July 14th of 1992. This song discuses about how power corrupts people: when people have too much of it they can use it to cause great problems and destruction.
DANZIG 3 came out the same day. I had to get em both.
@@satanlaffing Danzig!🤘
A Tout Le Monde from Megadeath is a masterpiece you should do as well.
Do the 2008 remake with Cristina Scabbia
Underrated song
You must definitely see the live version of this song in Buenos Aires, the audience there is amazing! 🤘🏻
Megadeth - Washington Is Next -- Would be a great song to react to because of current events.
I agree totally
Thanks for reacting to this song it's awesome. I'm going to go with the crowd and say sweating bullets is a good one to do next. Keep rocking 🤘and being awesome too 😎
Gotta check out the live version of this from Argentina it's crazy
A good Megadeth song with a message is 'Hook in Mouth'. Released in 1988, the song is about censorship, especially in music. You have already listened to 'Peace Sells', another one of Dave's songs with a message. Another Megadeth, rarely played, is 'FFF" off the Cryptic Writing album. Less than 3 minutes, 'FFF' is another song a message. Killer Marty solo at the end.
You have to see the live version of this. The crowd is amazing.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Ashes in your mouth by Megadeth ftw
This whole album is🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Megadeth has a shit ton of badass songs. Listen to Ashes In Your Mouth or Victory or 99 ways to die or Angry again. Trust me straight fucking bangers
As far as other recommendations for Megadeth songs, I say give a listen to “foreclosure of a dream”... basically, when the gulf war happened. Military reservists, were called up to fight the gulf war, some of which were farmers, who wound up coming home from war , only to find out their farms were foreclosed on, because they weren’t their to pay their mortgages.. completely sad!!
Hangar 18, youthanasia, and angry again are also great tracks
The album count down to extinction is one of Megadeth's true masterpieces. and it came out in 1992 :my senior year of High School. we witnessed The Berlin Wall come down and The fall of the Soviet Union had occured just a year prior, but we were also watching The Gulf War on T.V. This was also the year I pre enlisted to join the U.S. Air Force.
Bought this when it dropped!
Damn, haven't heard this track in a minute. Looking forward to your reaction!
It doesn't get any better than this!
3:57 I love how many times this song goes into and out of what's called half time (playing a rhythm half as fast as it was previously played).
Great reaction!
Victory is a great Megadeath song also the remake of thier song a tout le monde with Christine Scabia is amazing. I always wanted that played at my funeral.
Sweating Bullets or The Conjuring!
Great job with your reaction and thoughts on Symphony of Destruction from Megadeth your next one to check off the list Sweating Bullets .
Great reaction Lilly! 🤘 Please react to "Good Mourning/ Black Friday" next.
Check out their version of she wolf live , rude awakening, you won't be disappointed
This is one of my favorite songs to get me up for motocross racing I would listen to it before staging awesome song
Great song Awsome your checking them out 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
I saw Megadeth at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Ga
Instant head bang! Love it!
Wow! So close to 60k. You'll make it no sweat! Keep it up!😊
In case you were not aware, Dave released new Megadeth a few months back. Check out "We'll be Back" and then "Nightstalkers".. He's back, and as hard as ever.
You're doing great and I'm enjoying your take on all your reactions they're alot of fun. Ashes in your mouth from this same album or just do all of this album or all of rust in peace or peace sells to me all perfect albums. We care about your awesome reactions so please keep up the great work😊
This song came out in 1992.
If you want a song with a powerful message then listen to: I Thought I Knew It All.
It's on their 1994 album Youthanasia.
Megadeth - This Was my Life
The Earth starts to RUUUMBBLE.....!
YASSS
Sweating bullets, peace sells, angry again, enemy number one, tout le monde , and in my darkest hour are definitely my next to recommendations. Megadeth definitely goes more of the political route when it comes to songs! As well as Dave Mustaines mental health and feelings.
Like in my Darkest Hour, it’s about him finding out the death of Cliff Burton, who was the bassist of Metallica before he passed away 1986.
Not the biggest heavy metal fan out there but this guitar riff with bass line is just boss! Boss of riffs.
This song still kicks ass today as much as when it first came out.
I was in my 20s when this song came out. I am not exaggerating when I say it was everywhere. You could not escape it. It was huge. This was the song that made the snobby girls from high school who thumbed their noses at metal suddenly start listening to metal and going to concerts.
That was my very first megadeth song. It was on the radio, but my friend changed channels cause she didnt like it. Took me years to find what sing itwas-no smartphones yes
MEGADETH, MEGADETH, AGUANTE MEGADETH 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷. Listen this song Live in Argentina
RIP NICK MENZA
listen to it live in Buenos Aires... that one night
its about time
Dear Lilly, it's comforting to know that you understand.
I'm glad you actually listen to the song lyrics. Most reactors for some reason just listen to the music but ignore the lyrics completely.A lot of songs.Specially the classics(master of puppets,18 and life,in a darkened room, vain glory opera, runaway trian, eye of the beholder, warpigs, etc, etc) have such deep stories and messages that are really worth to talk about.
music from my youth
Check into the Story of Mice Piper of Hamelin and you will know why this song talks about mice dancing.
A tout le monde - Megadeth
Everyone, EVERYONE who hears this song is confused by the intro, why?? it IS the -symphony- of destruction.
Oh, they are not rats, they are the sheep following the lunatic. He is alluding to the story of the pied piper of Hamlyn. the marionettes are dancing, 'cause they have strings, the strings the madman is pulling
BINGO!
Captive honor
If you want epic guitar solos or drum solos... "she wolf - live at rude awakening" is a must
Bad Omen, great song, a cautionary tale put to music 🎵🎶 about messin' around with things that are best left alone.
Foreclosure of a Dream is a fantastic Megadeth Song which has certainly stood the test of time.
Peace Sells
Angry Again
Hangar 18
Almost Honest
Good reaction
I think this song has a Marty Friedman solo that’s definitely top 3.
If you’ve ever tried to learn to play it on guitar, you know first hand how masterful it is.
Foreclosure of a dream 👍👍!
This was the song that got me into Megadeth back when the album feat the song" Countdown To Extinction " was released 1992 a friend from school played it for me on his DISCman yep transportable CD player or was it his walkman forgot but i heard it while in school...RATs not mice lol
If you want to trip out, watch this song live in South America. Argentina or Brazil I forget which but you'll be amazed and shocked.
Elysian Fields is a great one
Check the live version in Argentina
You should also check out the original video. The president they have in it resembles Bisen.
Absolute power corrupts absolutely...
This is their Enter Sandman.
Please react to "Five Magics" or "Set The World Afire. Both are such great and energetic songs.
Dave Mustane is a really lyricist.
RIP NICK MEBZA
I'd recommend trying something from their new album. The official music video for We’ll Be Back: Chapter I is fire.
You're missing out on the best one from this album and that's Ashes in your mouth.
Dystopia
Trust, Peace Sells, This was my Life, and The Scorpion is tip notch as well.😎😎👍👍. This song though gives me old Power Ranger vibes.🤘🤘🔥🔥🇺🇸🇺🇸😎😎
Hope you’re having a amazing day
Another jam to listen to that I think you would like is Judas Priest Devil’s Child (Live Vengeance 82’)
Have you ever heard the story of the pied piper?
There's industrial/gristle version of this song.
👍👍💯
I think this was the follow-up to Rust In Peace (which was released in 1990), so I guess CTE came out around 1992...?
Yeah, that sounds right... then Youthanasia was out in 1994 and the Hidden Treasures compilation in 1995.
Sounds like a re-mix or remaster possibly as opposed to the original album track imo. Noticing some audio tidbits, levels etc. that don't jive with my recollection of the album cut of the song. Maybe it's just the mix in the video? Still sounds amazing of course.
Dave's been speaking truth for years.
Do the entire youthanasia album you'll love it
🤘👍👍🤘ed
History is a cycle in most cases. We have a hard time learning from past mistakes and tend to make the mover and over again. At the time this was written, Stalin and his atrocities were living memories for some people. And he was the epitome of giving a man power and watching him become a god. Unfortunately in this day and age we are rapidly doing the same thing.
And yes, given the state of the world today, we are busy warming up that symphony. Once again, humanity has to learn a hard lesson.
The melody, the aggressiveness the Rebellious Voice, the Energy, and the Political Statement makes Megadeth my number one Heavy Metal!
the Chorus main Riff sounds like a spider crawling it's webs
Warm up song for so many hockey teams in the 90s. LOL
Give architecture of aggression a listen off this album. One of their best and lesser known songs 🤘🤘
and hear washington is next that is one of the best lyrics ever
If you watch to video to this song that was played on MTV, you would understand this song a little more.
