@@MonicaDBrini I like a great deal of their music myself but I'm sure there are a few tracks that aren't so fresh, Even the best bands always have a set of songs that are weak in comparison to the others.
Trippin_n_sippin28 True. There are quite a few artists who have 1 or 2 tracks that I like and the rest not so much. But Megadeth is one of the few who I have trouble thinking of a song I don’t care for.
Great, thoughtful review. Sometimes a vocalist who is not technically sound marries well with their music - especially in rock. And as always, there can be beautify in imperfection.
Gotta be “Peace Sells”. Dave wrote “My Darkest Hour” while mourning the loss of his friend and Metallica bassist Cliff Burton. That is your rock history lesson for today young audiophiles.
Surprised I'm not seeing more requests for Tornado of Souls. Classic Megadeth and the guitar solo in it is legendary, probably the best solo in any Megadeth song.
Use The Man is a must for Megadeth. Your next *live* reaction NEEDS to be this love song by Ted Nugent. Song: Wang Dang Sweet Poontang Album: Double Live Gonzo 110% guaranteed BANGER
You will not be let down by listening to megadeth "high speed dirt". Picks up the pace a notch, has very skilled guitar work and it's all about sky diving too. When you're done listening you'll feel like you just went skydiving
I always like when you talk about the instruments and production. Today you taught me things I never knew about drumming. Thanks for helping me appreciate my favorite music more!
Sweating bullets from this same album, count down to extinction, great bass and drum work on it. Also, peace sells, is great with a bad ass bass intro!!! Great reaction guys🤘
Love this one! I always imagined this being my theme song blasting from the speakers at the stadium as I trotted out to the pitcher's mound to close out the 9th inning of a baseball game! Epic! Thank you for another great reaction guys!
If you guys are into whiskey you should check out Blackened. It's Metallica's whiskey. It's very good. I have 2 bottles now. Gotta order it online though. Stores don't have it. Make a video of you guys reviewing the whiskey while listening to Metallica.
Nick Menza was the drummer.....LEGENDARY SKILLS. His Dad, Don Menza was a big band/Jazz sax player....who, also had LEGENDARY SKILLS. RIP Nick Menza 2016. Man, this song was huge when it came out. I don't think I've heard it in 25 years. I'm not much of a metal guy these days, but Megadeth has a kind of "black comedy" element to them that I've always appreciated. This feels kind of like the metal equivalent of the movie Falling Down.

You guys get it!! Lol This was the song that got me into Megadeth and heavier metal, it felt harder than Metallica at that time. The rest of this album is amazing. You should react to "foreclosure of a dream" and "high speed dirt"
sweating bullets and foreclosure are the other really big songs from this album.. clearly the best album in the discography. and there biggest album as well.
Megadeth have so many great songs that I dare to recommend not the usual ones that are mentioned here in other comments already (Peace Sells, Sweating Bullets), but some often overseen gems that they wrote which are: - Trust (from 'Cryptic Writings') - Dread and a Fugitive Mind (from "The World needs a Hero") - Train of Consequences (from 'Youthanasia')
So it's been a year, you guys should really check out the live video of this song, not sure what year but it's a concert in Argentina..it is just incredible !!
Peace Sells is a must! If you want to go back to when Dave was in Metallica, The Four Horseman off of Metallica's first album is another must! He co-wrote it!
Go for the live version of Peace Sells called That One Night. It's in Brazil and the crowd makes the song that much better. You have to see the live version!
If you guys want to see Mustaine in his prime, when it comes to vocals, then I suggest reacting to anything from their album “Youthanasia”. Ya’ll won’t regret!
My name is Axelrod and Im an alcoholic I used to drink whiskey and attend Megadeth concerts until 1 day I almost completely lost my hearing. After completing the 12 step program I am sober and only listen to Tom Jones and Barry Manilow 🤗🤭🔥
Peace Sells made me a fan back in the 80's! My favorite is Sweating Bullets! Also another band you should try is W.A.S.P. Animal or Blind in Texas are awesome tracks. 🤘
I would say Megadeth is just one of those groups that when you listen to them you get hooked into the music and can't stop listening to it. Any song that you react to buy them is going to be good.
Check out Corrosion of Conformity (COC ) "Mine are the eyes of God", Also Orange 9mm "Thickest Glass", " Glistening".... as well as Fishbone "Servitude" "Sunless Saturday".......
I was raised on metal in the 80s and 90s. Saw Megadeth, Anthrax and Judas Priest live ....great show. I collect vinyl LPs and this LP on Amazon is $430 for the cheapest one. Sweating bullets and Angry Again are great songs also.
Hey guys, nice vid...this is definitely one of my favourite Megadeth songs. You mentioned it sounded like a good "gateway" song into metal and I agree. In fact, I think the entire album this song is from has a similar gateway vibe. My suggestion for your next Megadeth vid is from the same album -- the song is 'Sweating Bullets'. Hope to see your reaction. Cheers.
How the Fuck did I miss this??????????????????? This is one of my favorite HM songs of all time. Not just because the groove is so TASTY but as you say, the lyrics describe what happens when a single human gains "Absolute Power, It Corrupts Absolutely!" SSSSS!!

Most definitely
+1 on Sweating Bullets
This would have been my comment. Excellent song. You beat me to it.

"Peace sells, but whos buying" must listen
A couple other Megadeth tracks I'd recommend:
•Tornado of Souls
•Rust In Peace...Polaris
•Peace Sells
There is not a single megadeth song I wouldn’t recommend.

This album is deceptively artistic despite is simplicity compared to their previous work. It's great. Check out Sweating Bullets.
I personally think the album sucks. It's more pop than anything, really. Or I suppose you could call it "relaxed metal"...
Hah. The whole time I was thinking they gotta do Sweating Bullets. About as weird as metal gets but in a good way. Just a fun song.

@Will Herman Yes MTV News used David Ellefson's bass intro on "Peace Sells" as their theme music.
In MY opinion, their greatest song.
Peace Sells gets a 10 for the bass opening alone.
This is a must listen.
This is my second favorite Megadeth song behind Sweating Bullets
Hey guys. Same album, listen to FORECLOSURE OF A DREAM and SKIN O' MY TEETH. Also if you haven't done it yet, PEACE SELLS. Fire! 🔥🔥🔥
