Great idea!...and yes the extra felt layer makes the difference. Thank you.
thank you. for watching!
i would of made it loose, flip it inside out so you dont see the edges, add that extra piece inside
I just wanted to drop by and express my sincere gratitude for your fantastic tutorial on sewing floor protector pads for furniture legs. As a renter, I've always been conscious of the potential damage caused by furniture, and your DIY solution came to the rescue!
Your creativity and generosity in sharing such valuable content have truly made a positive impact. Keep up the amazing work and know that you've made a difference in at least one renter's life - my landlord can now sleep in peace!
I’m glad you found this video useful! thanks for the really nice comment you made my day ❣️☺️🙏
I think that is a very good idea, I'll have to try that before my floors get scratched too! Thank you!
I used pretty thick felt! Hope it works for you❣️😊
Amazing life hack and your sewing skills are impeccable 👌🏾
Thank you so much 💕It always makes me happy to know when my video is somewhat useful to someone !
Do you have a video or suggestions for making something for the edge/tip of a wooden rocking chair to help protect from bumping one’s ankle into it when passing.
I don’t have a rocking chair but that sounds like a painful problem! I would maybe make a tip cover with quilted fabric (kind of like a cooking mitten)…? but I have no idea how that would affect the movement of a rocking chair…😅
@@SachisStudio I so appreciate you taking the time to reply. I have bunch up sock on the tip; the issue is securing it and keeping it there. (Does not adversely affect the movement of the chair). Will just keep trying to figure it out.
I need please
That sounds logic, however the fit would be more loose since the seams are now on the inside.
I’m wondering how they are now 11 months later? Still working?
I left the seam on the outside, just trimmed the seam allowance closely! This set lasted for about 6 months. Then I made another set in different felt that didn’t last more than two weeks. I guess it depends on fabric. This is definitely not a long term solution. I’m thinking about making them in thick faux leather right now…
@@SachisStudio thank you for your reply! The leather option sounds like a good one
I thought these chair leg protectors came u
In different sizes?
I couldn’t find good ones for my chairs but I’m sure they exist!
