Do you have a video or suggestions for making something for the edge/tip of a wooden rocking chair to help protect from bumping one’s ankle into it when passing.

I don’t have a rocking chair but that sounds like a painful problem! I would maybe make a tip cover with quilted fabric (kind of like a cooking mitten)…? but I have no idea how that would affect the movement of a rocking chair…😅

@@SachisStudio I so appreciate you taking the time to reply. I have bunch up sock on the tip; the issue is securing it and keeping it there. (Does not adversely affect the movement of the chair). Will just keep trying to figure it out.

That sounds logic, however the fit would be more loose since the seams are now on the inside.
I’m wondering how they are now 11 months later? Still working?

I left the seam on the outside, just trimmed the seam allowance closely! This set lasted for about 6 months. Then I made another set in different felt that didn’t last more than two weeks. I guess it depends on fabric. This is definitely not a long term solution. I’m thinking about making them in thick faux leather right now…

@@SachisStudio thank you for your reply! The leather option sounds like a good one
