Still not working, vintage table I bought, double-tube. On chart online, it looks perfect match for 1" size outer diameter - seems to match existing old tips (only missing one) - will try putting "old" one on this leg, see if it works on others. Tried placing new tip in warm soapy water, soapy water, and also vaseline, on bare table leg.
Finally got it - had to take and cover the ends of the new tip with some cloth, then tap it with a hammer - after soaking it in dish soap and coating sides of new tip with dish soap. Amazing how the new one could look exactly the same size as the old one, but be so difficult to get the new on one.
I feel places that use school chairs that has the plastic caps which comes off easily and left with the metal chair which has hole is the worst because it makes a-lot of dragging metal sound especially on concretes . Im school we used to just fold paper and stuff it in the leg hole or use cloth
Nice life hack in planning to buy some of these rubber caps from online because i can only find the stick on which wont work for those school chairs, or the cloth cover which in worried it just will wear off but they have these are my cooking class but only will be there for 8 lessons and i worried by the time it came my 8 lessons are over since it probably take weeks to come
