I was playing some Michigan football players in pick up basketball.
There was a fast break and I was the only defender back.
Derrick Alexander did this reverse alley oop while running full speed, he jumped at the free throw line, grabbed the ball mid air.
When he jammed it through very hard and his head nearly touched the rim and he was yelling AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! as he reverse slam dunked it.
And the whole gym including myself was just in awe.
I never saw a slam dunk like that ever, not even in the NBA dunk contest.
Derrick Alexander was a ridiculous athlete
〽️ichigan rules!
Michigan used to own Ohio state in football
John Cooper...the greatest OSU coach in Michigan history. LOL
I worshipped the man.
Woody hayes legendary Ohio state football coach, but john cooper Michigan favorite punching bag
❤earl bruce:( nursing home 🏡) woody Hayes;; John ( punching 🎒bag) Cooper
Cooper still could have won Natty in 96 even with loss 📉 to Michigan
Did ABC air the Michigan vs. Ohio State football game on November 24, 1990, yes? Was the game being played at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, yes?
You are looking LIVE!!
The must ingenious play call of all time....run Gregg Fry on a f'n option. SMART!
Good memory - Iowa was in first place in the Big Ten at this time and OSU needed to win this game and have Iowa lose at Minnesota later in the afternoon. A tie (this was before OT) wouldnt have done them any good.
Minnesota actually did beat Iowa but by then the game was meaningless as this OSU loss gave Iowa the Rose Bowl.
Back in the good ol days of Big Ten football. Where the Rose Bowl was just as good or better than some newspaper writers voting you " National Champion ".
All three times Hayden Fry took Iowa to Rose 🌹 Bowl they didn't beat Ohio State (teams didn't play in 81)
heres what i remember...osu needed to win to go to pasadena, thats why they went for it from their own 30 in the last 2 minutes...they had no timeouts left because of the old crowd noise rule, the ref had taken their timeouts away....and watch the kick again to see big greg skrepenak knock down the entire right side of the line like dominoes...what a monster. my second trip to columbus.
Man, Bo was all OVER the field. D played pretty good - stupid play calling and poor offensive play. No wonder Bo jumps all over guys here! LOL
Go Blue!!!
Good game. I wish Michigan had as many victories vs the Buckeyes now as we did in the 90's. Here's to hoping things turn around under Rich Rodriguez.
Interesting fact: Every Michigan coach has beaten OSU in his first year since 1927 (Kipke was the last who didn't).
Interesting fact: That is no longer true.
It’s been almost 20 years of ASS Whoopins HAHA 🤣 🤣🤣 O-H!!! I-O!!!
Well...things didn't exactly "turn around" under RichRod. Or the next guy. Or the next guy -- for a while. Now, though? We may finally be on the right track. It took longer than we all wanted or expected, but...better late than never!
Things are turning
I've seen this game on ESPN Classic. Maybe years ago that network showed more UM losses, but I've seen them broadcast loads of UM victories. Nowadays it would be nice if you can find a game at all on that channel. By the way, that 4th down Greg Frey option may be the greatest play call in history.
gary moeller is going to coach the alumni team in the flag football game right before the spring football game on april 11th.
PITCH THE DAMN BALL BYNOT'E GETS THE FIRST!!!!
This was a great close game, why is it never on ESPN Classic? Oh yeah, cuz Michigan won.
cool
❤Ohio state football 🔨 to the ground down
Last Ohio State Michigan game I went to. It sure got tiresome hearing John Cooper talk about how he beat Michigan when he was at Arizona State.😂 at least Buckeyes won or tied most of the remaining games against Michigan in Ohio Stadium
Lol nope. Only lost in 94 and 98 after
Buckeye for life
Fista bowl 2016,2019, hopefully 2020 another loss, Clemson football team &dabo Swinney, or nick saban &Alabama football
@@lloydkline6946Buckeyes routed Clemson in 21 Fiesta Bowl. That sure was a strange season. Don't want to see any more 😴 games with no fans in stands
YOU ARE LLLOKING LLIVE!!!
LOL - Look at the safety for OSU...boy he sucks getting run over...I hope he made a better coach than a tackler....LOL
Oh wait....that's BO FREAKING PELINI!!! LOL
GO BIG RED!
*Sigh*. I miss John Cooper.
Every body needs a punching bag
John Cooper comeback;; black check
Now you've got Ryan Day😂
Brett Musberger is so annoying.
He sure lasted a long time. This was when he started with ABC after CBS got rid of him. He lasted more than 20 years with ESPN/ABC
