Tifa and Cloud are my third favorite ff couple right behind Cecil/Rosa and Locke/Celes. They are so cute, such a cute mix of playful childhood friends who struggle to express their developing true feelings due to the rough lives they were forced to live. You know that as angsty and antisocial Cloud is, he lets himself lower his guard around Tifa. And Tifa despite being well liked and often times having to be strong for everyone else, deep down still has that girlish dream of her hero protecting her. She's a tough tomboy, but she has a soft vulnerable and playful side that Cloud brings out in her. They need each other.

I find it the most funny because Frog Cloud and Tifa seem to have almost an opposite personality to their normal selves. Frog cloud is all determined but you can tell that Tifa as a frog is just thinking ‘For GODS Sake!’ when she heard they have to fight as frogs
This is literally the personification of the phrase "Will you still love me if i turned into a worm?" In this case, Cloud would still very much care deeply for Tifa if she turned to a frog.
I found it to be a nice parallel that the devs made this quest to be paired with Tifa. The intro scene to this mission to be specific. Finn telling Tifa that him and Priscilla are “friends, but it’s not like I LIKE her or anything” was literally a parallel to what young Cloud’s thoughts were about Tifa. “I only hang out with Tifa because she’s the only girl in the village!” energy. That’s why Tifa lets out a chuckle and says “Of course”. Because she sees the parallel of what Finn is going though and what Cloud more than likely went through at some point as well
Lets be honest though. It makes sense people seem to forget he wanted to join solider to impress his friend,then he went for aeirth my guy loved both of them. If cloud could he might have taken the rex route from xenoblade chronicles 2/3

Oh man that reminds me in the original FF7 when I fought in the gold saucer arena, every stage you get one random effect. for the last fight I got turned into a frog, could only deal 1 damage each attack. I had to fight some kind of frost dragon snake (or so), due to an item I was immune against frost damage, so I couldn´t lose. But this thing had 10.000 life and I just dealt 1 damage. So...put a weight on the attack button, so it would attack again and again when it was my turn. Turned off the tv and went to sleep. Somewhere in the morning I finally won and got the Omni ultimate for cloud this way...good memories.
One thing people never questions about this is how did this place got created which transmogrifies anyone except monsters into frogs? 🤔 Also, I'm suddenly craving for frog legs after watching this. 😋
