@@Mybackisbr0ken Tbh, I'm unsure of who really recites the Qur'an properly nowadays. Most of the really famous ones do way too much emphasis on their voice and not enough emphasis on the wording. I would like to know where can I find the evidences brought to the table in this discussion. Could someone please guide me to it? English or Arabic doesn’t matter.
I have a very important question PLEASE answer; so it was said that even reading Quran in a studied melodious way is haram... I currently memorize it from qari mishary al afasy which is very melodious if you are aware of it and this helps to memorize so I try to do it exactly the same way and copy the tone,,,Is this okay??!
Answer Praise be to Allah. Making one’s voice beautiful when reciting Qur’aan is something that is prescribed and was enjoined by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) listened to the recitation of Abu Moosa al-Ash’ari and liked it, and he told him, “You have been given a melodious voice like that of Dawood.” (Muslim, Salaat al-Musaafireen, 793). On this basis, if the imam of a mosque imitates a person who has a beautiful voice and recites beautifully in order to make his own voice and recitation of the Book of Allaah more beautiful, this is something which is prescribed for him and for others, because it moves the worshippers praying behind him, and makes them focus, listen and pay attention to the recitation. Assalamu alaikum wa rahmathullahi wa barakathuhu Doubt 1 : if prophet( saw )allowed those two women to do what they are doing,( Beautifully rising their voice), then is it allowed in islam to beautify women's voice in front of non mehram. Or is there any exception?! Doubt 2: Allah ajja wajal use the word كره for the probihibited things. So, ulamaul muwaddhimeen has used in the same way. So, what is the evidence for the mutha'akhhireen usage "disliked(not completely prohibited)" for the word كره، in the islamic sciences??? Why they dont mean complete probition by كره ? Jazakumullahu khairah
Doubt 1 the word used for these females was جارية (jariyah) that basically means small girls. So they justify it by saying it's ok because they are kids. Doubt 2: I don't really have knowledge about that
This is not related to the video but its a question i have. Since it is allowed to do the marriage contract when a girl has not reached puberty. Just like Aishah RA did. Although, consummating that marriage is only when she has reached it. So if a man divorces a girl like in this situation, will there be a iddah of 3 months? I would think that the answer would be no because in in the Quran 33:49 “O believers! If you marry believing women and then divorce them before you touch them, they will have no waiting period for you to count, so give them a ˹suitable˺ compensation, and let them go graciously.” But then in surah 65:4 “As for your women past the age of menstruation, in case you do not know, their waiting period is three months, and those who have not menstruated as well. As for those who are pregnant, their waiting period ends with delivery. And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will make their matters easy for them.” When Allah says “and those who have not menstruated as well” who is this talking about? Is it the women who have reached puberty but do not have they’re cycles because of some problem or is it the girls who have married that are still immature?

I pray we accept the authority of the Quran to differentiate between right or wrong rather than trying to prove the Quran from the Ijma.

Allaah bestows His bounty on whomsoever He wills and He is the owner of great bounty.

This is what is not allowed, and Shaykh Ibn Baaz (rahimahullah) has a fatwa on it.

Which surah is it in the intro??
Surah Al-Ra'd, ayah 5
It's just today's music that's bad but music in general is not actually haram
I wonder if Prophet(pbuh) and his companions sat and talked about music being Haram or not for almost 3 hours.
why would they? the companions obeyed the prophet SAW without question, so they already knew music is haram. nowdays people will argue with hadith so it needs to be clear.
@@المجرتينيIf it's not in Quran its not haram.

Doubt 1 : if prophet( saw )allowed those two women to do what they are doing,( Beautifully rising their voice), then is it allowed in islam to beautify women's voice in front of non mehram.
Doubt 2: I don't really have knowledge about that
Make a discussion like this on reliability of the ahadeeth !!

Can you explain music in documentary’s ones that are educational bit movies of no be fit like for example a animal documentary that’s if use to you etc
Assalaamu alaikum, I would say that it's best to avoid these things; they are a waste of time and not beneficial enough to justify the music within them. If you want to watch these things, either mute the show so the music cannot taint your heart and put on subtitles, or go to the park/outdoors and contemplate on Allah's creation there inshaa'Allah. But I would recommend doing beneficial acts of worship instead (eg. seeking knowledge, watching Islamic discussions such as these, reciting/learning Qur'an etc). In saying that, none of us are perfect and I myself waste time on non-beneficial things. May Allah forgive us our shortcomings and help us to improve
@@AH23232 say for example I’m in a class and I’m watching a video in that topic but the person that explaining the topic uses music in this case what should I do many don’t have subtitles although some do and those that do I do read rather than watch
@@sm5033 it's a good point my brother/sister. Like the commenter above already mentioned, if possible, mute things and use subtitles. Otherwise, a lot of the time I've found it's possible to lower the volume to the extent you can get the speech without really hearing the music. Regarding reciting Qur'an like music which is impermissible, the example of that is Omar hisham al arabi. Please stay away from listening to his recitation. He has gone way overboard and his recitation sounds like music wallah

Melodic singing for rhyming like todays music is not the same as Quran. He said singing like to a baby, animal or singing yourself for motivation quickly is. But not todays music type

Yes, he uses autotune as well.
@@maryamnoor8764 his recitations were one of the factors that brought me closer to Islam (ofcourse by Allah's will) and my iman increases whenever I listen to his recitations with translation....why would something haram bring so much benefit in my life??
@@fauziajasia2548 I'll rewrite this - you can't use the ends to justify a means. For example, on this basis one may argue that you can steal money in order to give sadaqah, or lie to someone about Islam in order to get them to take a Shahadah. This is not the basis upon which you can say something is permissible. Hope you understand inshaa'Allah
@@fauziajasia2548 just because Allah guided you through him, doesn't mean he is invincible
@@AH23232 I am not actively stating that something is permissible, rather I am questioning the prohibition of that thing. There's a difference.
And with all due respect I DON'T think your COMPARISON of "giving sadaqa by stealing" to my "increasing iman by listening to a certain kind of recitation" is RIGHT !!
WHY?
Because, if charity is given through haram money then that charity is NOT charity at all or it's not inherently good. But when I feel closer to my Creator by listening a certain kind of recitation then can you claim that my "increase of iman" here is inherently bad/wrong?? How can the increase of iman be wrong just like a false sadaqa with haram money? So according to that my increase in iman is false too??!
With due respect, It's quite unfortunate to see when somebody trying to prove Ijma for which he doesn't have any daleel, tries to alter the meanings of words of Quran to satisfy his belief. When somebody is speaking more arabic than english and as soon as he starts commenting on Quran, he doesn't even knows the meaning of the words of the Quran himself, rather he tries to get the meaning of the words of the Quran from a scholar which supports his beliefs. I pray we accept the authority of the Quran to differentiate between right or wrong rather than trying to prove the Quran from the Ijma.
