We should not imitate those disbelievers on what they do. If we wanna protest we should go back on how our beloved prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) did it.

    Baralu Allahu fikum.
For those still disagree. Just my quick 2 cents:
The cries of protests are from a people who don't have true Iman and reliance on Allah(they neither practice their Deen) nor understand what the power of Dua and Tawakal.
And so us who have Allah as a Muala(Allah say they have no muala but the believers have Allah as their Muala) follow the path of a people who don't have Allah. That is a failure and humiliation.
The civil movement is not even demonstrations it was fighting just as Palastinians come out of their houses for freedom. We can't even call them protesting. Civil rights movement was about a people taken and stolen from their lands and that came with it. Its not the same as masajids being closed or a wars happening.
What would hearts who are lost do for Islam or for our brothers and sisters. Its not just Palestinians who are oppressed so this is a wider picture. And the government's never done anything to give Palestinians back their land. Rather it was the British government that gave Israelis Palastine. This has been for decades. Do you think Boris is gonna say "right, Israel get out and stop your oppression".
Even if some mps were to speak up there are always people on the higher level that won't change it. They are allies to one another(and we ordered to be allies to one another too) they're not gonna break off from their allies because of justice, 1 because they are enemies to Muslims also they too carry out injustices and so hide behind others injustices so they are not called out for theirs as well as their interests.
Allah Ta'ala has already told us and the Prophet has pathed the way. Let's even say OK we will protest, what kind of people join? Also, there are alot of agendas that people have against us and use that as an opportunity, for example Jews coming to protests trying to make us love them or sympathise with them(long discussion), they use this as a weapon just as the Christians have and is a major part why we are like this, they are smart and most of us think the love us spread vids about their protests with Muslims. As they say, bring your enemies closer than your friends and we are in trap. Wake up.
We are not permitted to live in their lands so who are we to demand Masjid etc from them. We have a contract(legal papers to stay such as serving the country),also so that doesn't include us demanding what we want.
The humiliation is not just Palestinian, it's all over. And that because it's the state of the Ummah, not what the enemies are doing per se.
People need to come back to the Qur'aan and Sunnah. And as the shiekh said we think we have it in our hands(the power of change towards leaders). We should ask from Allah aline after practicing the Way the He orders us to take. The Qur'aan is a book of guidance. If we don't seek the means(people coming back to the Deen) and ask Allah then we will continue in the humiliation. Allah is the One who could change their hearts to do what we want and need once we come with what we are required. Not by not praying, fasting, giving zakat, free mixing, no hijab fahsha etc then shouting aside doors and most of the time violence. Do you think Allah is pleased with that? Being in your own land and oppressed is one thing and be else where where you are not in the face of danger is another thing. Even if you are in Palestine today, is being an excuse for us to not wear hijab, play music etc(not saying anything of the Palestinians)?
Demonstrations are begging the kufar. And you are not to. The majority of the people who go for Demonstrations don't even practice their Deen so you think Allah will give them victory against leaders who are politically shut and themselves are oppressors.
This is a long discussion. Protesting I begging and scream "you have power over us, help us or don't hurt us or give us" these begging and giving power to is only for Allah and only He can give us, protect us, help us. Majority don't even pray how do expect Allah will give power and honour back to the Ummah. People don't even know their religion and Majority of them are hypocrites and start barking for the wrong reasons or when it only touches them and not when Allah or His Deen are attacked(not saying demos needed then).
It's like knowing you have a coward child yet saying go and beat up the entire playground. You have to teach your child to be brave and how to defend themselves. So don't think oh we can just learn and sit at home and be quiet. The knowledge required of course which 1st is Tawhiid. People are going about having Christmas parties yet claim to be Muslims youbthink Allah is gonna put power in to their cries. Allah is the One who subjugate the kufar and as a servant of Allah He can subjugate them in our favour.
Masjid being closed either is not a time for Demonstration. Allāh Ta'ala doesn't live in the Masajids and He can worshipped on earth and in houses. A letter of bring to attention can be written by those who are in some what in charge but NOT a letter demanding. When we demand we uphold democracy and soo much more. If they refuse after even an reminder then Al Hamdulilāh the entire earth was given to us. We have already been given the entire earth,we don't need to beg. And it's even more incumbent on us to migrate to a Muslim land. If a Muslim leader banned a Masjid then that letter can be a demand as Muslims and tell them to fear Allah. But who are you to demand in their lands. Its like a guest demanding from you pork.
Read more often the Qur'aan, learn the Seerah and you'll understand why we should 1st and always ask only from Allah and never beg the kufar.

The ustadh here is absolutely correct. We must built from the ground up, establish our communities on islam and adherence to it and Allah will grant us success. We change ourselves and Allah will change help situation.A majority of the ummah today, especially in the West is away from islam.
Once we have these strong communities established then the representatives and leaders will merge from them that stand firm with their values.
The ustadh us 100% correct, politics will take u away from the religion. I would add that politics is a road to kufr. We are going to have weak representatives from a weak community- in what way is that going to help us, in what way is it right now. All of them have compromised their deen for politics, whether uts calling the shariah of Allah swt backwards and barbaric, astagfirullah, or siding with the lgbtq+ community and etc

Politics is a dimension of current reality and history. The Prophet SAW engaged in politics - Islamic politics. Thats what forming a state in madinah was, the forming of the constitution of madinah, sending out the banners. Treaty of hudeibiyyah - all politics. The rest of the world are surrounding the Ummah with haram politics against the ummah while we are blind to the available islamic politics. Avoiding islamic politics is keeping the ummahs hands tied back.

Obeying the Prophet SAW also involves understanding the Seerah which includes everything leading up to the Madinah state. Denying Islamic politics is denying the second portion of the seerah.

I understand it as politics that of not of the shariah. Non Shariah. We have our own shariah. Politics here means anything outside Islām I.e democracy, liberalism etc. Politics means compromising, deceiving, lying, cheating, engaging in unjust wars, being allies to the enemies of Islām and the kufar, influence from the people including those who call for haram to be permissible, taking or giving rights of the people, I can’t even stop there. All this is just like what the sheikh said that it will cause you too loose your religion. And of course it’s clear when we see so called Muslim rulers who have bought the heat after for a small gain.
We have a law, and using it with wisdom is the correct path. Politics is using your own and grazing out of the boundaries set by Allāh. It doesn’t mean you can be smart or use wisdom, rather it’s needed but not the definition of the kufar. I believe he is talking about the definition of the kufar not Shariah that you mention of the Seerah.

the host of the podcast. Is he asking these questions for the people who have that kind of mindset and does he really think that way himself? isn't it clear what brother Abdul Rahman is saying? Everything is in the hand's of Allah. It is only Allah who test us and cake take us out of the difficulty.

      Dear brother or sister
      May Allah bless you
Please keep in mind that one has to uphold certain etiquettes when addressing a scholar even though this may be a more comfortable gathering and podcast rather than an ilm gathering
One should still honour the scholars and call them ustadh

Ustadh what about working for non-Muslim country...like civil services ?(even if there are plenty Muslims) Even that will destroy ones religion ?

Even though I agree with the brother that unless we change things won’t improve. However, the brother needs to understand that Muslims ummah is huge and I don’t think there would be a wholesale change and that needs to happen but it’s just a fiction that will not happen.

The opportunity here is to discuss how this love of the Prophet, often termed as "jealous love" or ghayrah, is taught and how it is displayed. What kind of role models are there for it. Because it seems to lie at the heart of this matter and clearly leads to some Muslims, mainly male, become ticking time bombs or some kind of pre-programmed killer that only needs the right wording or image and then is activated. A corollary to that would be to discuss how other Muslims then celebrate such a person and canonise them to become the role model used to then teach others.
Mainly Muslims need to address this and bring this to attention. Clearly such "love" of the Prophet without any references or restrictions is a direct threat to free speech in the world and a direct threat to human life.

When the community is strong and have knowledgeable and powerful individuals is it then permissible to engage in politics?, If so who sets the parameters for when a community is strong or not as it seems there is a room for ijtihad and all the issues the br mentions are based upon today's reality in most Western countries, my question would be what if the situation is changing and the Muslims on the ground are solid and increasing in numbers not becoming a minority are we then allowed to engage ? , Also does the methodology the be mentions apply to Muslim majority countries to not engage at all in politics?, Jazak Allah khayr

I wander what the sheikhs opinion on the hadith, the greatest jihad is a word of truth to a tyrant ruler, especially when he is encouraging muslims to forget politics and focus on themselves

    • @adamfxcr
      @adamfxcr 4 года назад +5

the ahadith mentions a word of truth 'in front' of the leader, not in public in a general sense. The Arabic clearly indicates this and shows that what it means is when you a with the leader physically, you forbid their evil, but it doesn't now mean you can start rallying and giving speeches directed against them specifically when they are absent. Ustadh Imran ibn Mansur and Ustadh Yasin Munye explained this concept on the chai with my bai podcast they did on the correct way to deal with the rulers.

The Quraishi leaders were not willing to offer the Prophet SAW power to the extent of allowing the Prophet SAW to implement Islam fully over Makkah. Rather it was Madinah that was willing to provide this power, hence Madina was established as the first State. Islam spread to the world through the Madinah state which the Prophet SAW established. The entire madani phase of the Seerah undermines this view that politics is forbidden. If the Prophet SAW didn't establish a state in Madinah, Islam would not have spread. Many Muslims today would not be Muslims while the believers would have dwindled in Makkah under that persecution hence the Seerah has the Madani phase as the second chapter of Seerah - reflect on this. Government state persecution against Muslims can only be dealt with having an Ummah with a government. The seerah even shows this.
The Salafi nour party in egypt worked with the egyptian secular government to overthrown Morsi. Modern saudi led salafis have worked to erase any emergence of an Islamic system in the world for decades. This is why saudi led salafis call Muslims to turn away from politics - it maintains the Ummah's weak position.

Why did the Saudis fight to get into power then if politics is forbidden? Once the British government managed to support the saudis into power, only then did the saudi led salafis support the idea of now avoiding politics - that way the saudis are cemented into power.
