The issue of pictures; regardless drawn by hand or taken by camera is all forbidden. The still image made by the camera are no different than drawing. Fear Allah o Muslims

disliked. this video is false. you cannot draw faces. the prophet ﷺ said the head is the image. and photographs are haram and full under tasweer. the prophet ﷺ did not say it's only haram if you draw it with your hand . that's ridiculous. cartoons are also haram tasweer .you're literally drawing it with your hand. the prophet ﷺ made the hadith general, as stated by sheikh salih as suhaymee, sheikh fawzan, and others . western duat keep pushing this incorrect opinion when majority of scholars say it's forbidden and constantly speak against it.
Found in the biography of Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-Uthaymeen rahimahullah was that when he gave a lecture at the University of Madeenah, the Shaykh rahimahullah noticed there were a few video cameras prepared in the hall of the place where he was going to give his lecture. Therefore, the Shaykh rahimahullah said before his lecture, “I do not permit anyone to take a picture of me and whoever takes a picture of me, I will be his opponent on the Day of Judgement”. Then the Shaykh rahimahullah began his lecture.
Ash Sheikh Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) said, “As for the people today being lenient towards the issue of picture taking, they have filled the world with pictures. And this leniency has no basis to it and it shows a lack of concern and weakness of the deen of those who do so, Wallahul musta’an.” End translation. [The tape (warnings of the fitn)]
The Lajnah Daa’imah stated: “What you mentioned regarding taking photos of the bride, the bridegroom, and their families during wedding ceremonies is Haram (prohibited) and is one of the bad wedding customs. This is so, because taking pictures of beings with a soul is absolutely Haram and a major sin. The basic ruling concerning making pictures of beings with souls, such as human beings and animals, is that it is Haram, whether the pictures are three-dimensional; drawings on paper, material, walls, or anywhere else; or photographs, as based on a Sahih (authentic) Hadith related from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He prohibited that, cursed those who do so and then threatened them with a painful torment… “. End quote.
Shaikh Saalih al-Fawzaan hafidhuhallah was asked: Question: May Allah be good to you. The questioner says: What is the ruling on taking pictures with the cellphone camera while it does not leave the cellphone? Answer: "All pictures are prohibited with a cellphone or other than it. The Prophet (ﷺ) prohibited pictures and cursed the picture makers and he did not make an exception. All pictures are prohibited. All their types, means, and forms, except what is due to a necessity. The Scholars have passed verdicts for its permissibility in a necessity. Yes”
Shaykh Muhammad Naasirud-Deen al-Albaanee Rahimahullaah (May Allaah have mercy on him) al-Albani: There is no difference between picture-making with a pen and picture-making with a camera. (AFI 7, afatwa.com) al-Albânî said: “I fear that Salafiyyûn one day will say: ‘Photography isn’t ‘picture making’. You just press a button.’.” (Silsilat-ul-Hudâ wan-Nûr 393)
Shaikh Muqbil (rahimahullah) said whilst explaining that pictures are prohibited:
“Whether it is television or live broadcasting cameras in stadiums or university halls or in the women’s section of police stations or every type of security camera” - (all these are prohibited). Refer to the book: “The ruling on pictures that have souls in them” by Shaikh Muqbil (P.28)
and these are only a few.
