I didn't know what to expect from that car on track, because that is NOT it's intended use, but it really performed well. For a big, powerful car meant to eat up road miles in extreme comfort, it was pleasantly surprising on a tight, technical, brake-heavy track like Barber. It is really well suited to long fast circuits like COTA and Road Atlanta. We definitely had the prettiest car on the track, with the best seat cooling and the best feeling steering wheel I have ever wrapped my hands around. Seriously, that wheel is ridiculous. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the right seat, both with you and that fast guy hahahahahaha Yoda says "Hi!". I'll give you a shout when I come to COTA and you do the same when you come to the Rocket City.
I'm glad this video popped up. I'm looking at tires for mine. I see you're running 4s... they are on my list as well as Pilot Sport All Season, Contact Sport 2, and Pirelli Sports. The LC looked and sounded great on track!!! Well done
One of the major issues is not only weight of the LC but the heating issues but as stated you know its not for extended use on a track stock. Thats the reason they make F cars which kinda put car lengths on LCs on a track and can run all out lap after lap their highest settings. However its not all about times for all and its very cool to see a LC gracefully running through its paces. Kudos love to see 2URs on the track regardless!! Love it! Keep rocking out! Subscribed because your rocking it on a track dude!!
Windows are required to be open for track events so drivers can signal with extended arm to indicate “pass me” on left or right… it’s called a “point-by”… every HPDE track event does this way
GSF is only 67 lbs heavier than RCF, and it’s more pure platform, which some pro reviewers noticed while others did not. I suspect used RCF likely to be far more used/beaten than GSF based on demographics of those I see in them.
@@computerhelpcc I’ve lived with this car far longer than any viewer had with a few “pro” videos. Used/beaten? it’s a top performing Lexus lol there are a few with very high miles that still get tracked with ease and mine with 106k moves like new. Only thing I see with a GSF is rarity since the IS500 has 4 doors too.
True … 4.5s to sixty… but I have a HUGE smile vs doing 3.0s in my friends Tesla… also consider if I want to get thrill of the similar sound in a faster car for the same 4.5s, I would get big ticket… I get about 10s of thrill getting to 100mph… those same 10s would put you in jail in a faster car! I ask if you would you have gotten a bigger thrill for it? It’s not about 0-60 times, it’s about the experience of the visceral feedback…

Sounds good
Nice video! Do you know how much dealership charge for brakes and rotors replacement? I have Macan GTS 23, it's around 8K😭Thank you!
I have the receipt for them - $2505 includes all 4 corners and the installation at Lexus
Thank you for reply, great service price for such nice car!
@LC500-Lexus still overpriced
Compared to?
Why is the window open? That miata was a rocket

If there was a crash your window would shatter, sending glass everywhere in an accident.
Only has a problem....it’s a Mazda
In the meantime that vette is in the next town having lunch.
Seeing a GSF there would be interesting as all performance items were standard, not options.
Well then the RCF in general is the one to use, got a Track or Fuji to add to it if you want more.

Yes, we know. LC500 is not a track car by any means.
