  • Thanks to the fine people at Dunsfold Aerodrome and their 'Driving Experiences' and in particular, absolutely massive thanks to driving instructor Glenn for making one of my dreams come true.
Being blind, until the true culmination of self-driving cars is on our roads, I won't be able to drive myself from point A to point B, but my amazing wife Kirsten booked an experience for me that I will never forget.
This is a short clip from a drive I took on May 17 2024, from my PoV.
I used the Meta Wayfarer Smart Glasses to capture the experience.
I was also able to drive a Ferrari but honestly, the Aston Martin is where my heart lives.
I loved that car and wanted to take it home.

This was much quieter than I expected it to be. When I think of DB('s I think of rumbling V8's, or buzzy V12's. What a great day though for you Andre, congratulations to both you and Kirsten for jumping on this opportunity. Reminds me of when my friend Ivan and I were copilots in a helicopter.

Quick question. Can you do a tutorial on the native instruments a 61 keyboard? Also, can you do some tutorials pertaining to reaper? I think it's a windows only based recording software thing.

      1. Already done it, go and find my ‘Native Instruments and Komplete Kontrol’ playlist on this channel.
      2. No. I am first and foremost a Logic user, I do not use Reaper.

Wow, you lucky sod. You should have uploaded the whole thing mate, including all the instruction you got leading up to the actual drive. Would make an interesting video. You might have got a lot of views.

Can’t. I filmed this on Meta Smart glasses and they record for 60 seconds each. I filmed at what I thought were key points of the drive. The rest of the time I was focusing.
