  • Sure. Blackness Castle is a 15th-century fortress located on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, in Scotland. It is one of the best-preserved medieval castles in Scotland, and it is known as the "ship that never sailed" because of its distinctive shape. It is located near the village of Blackness, Scotland, on the south shore of the Firth of Forth, and hence the name. Blackness Castle was built by Sir George Crichton, the Lord High Admiral of Scotland. The castle was originally built as a residence, but it was soon converted into a state prison. Blackness Castle was used as a prison for both political prisoners and common criminals, and it is said to be haunted by the ghosts of some of its former inmates. Blackness Castle was decommissioned after the First World War, and now it is a popular tourist destination. It was built on a tidal island, which made it difficult to attack, and has four corner towers, which are connected by a curtain wall. What I loved the most is that most of the castle is accessible to the public, and that the castle is almost concealed from the outside.

Восхитительная прочность, суровая сила.Очень впечатляет. Кажется, слышно бряцанье доспехов и оружия, рыцарская поступь.
