Dunrobin Castle & Gardens, Most Majestic Castle in Scottish Highlands, part of #nc500
Dunrobin Castle is one of Scotland's most iconic and historically significant castles, located near the town of Golspie in the Highlands. It is the largest in the Northern Highlands and date back to the early 1300s. However, in the mid-19th century, Sir Charles Barry, who also designed the Houses of Parliament, remodelled it to its fairytale appearance with conical towers and turrets. The castle’s interior is lavishly furnished, reflecting the wealth and power of the family. The falconry show at Dunrobin Castle is one of the highlights for visitors, offering an exciting and educational experience set against the beautiful backdrop of the castle's formal gardens and the North Sea.

Morning Throughly enjoyed this ❤ We are unable to visit Dunrobin castle as not even the grounds of the castle are dog friendly so great to see this Have a great weekend ❤
Really enjoy beautiful castle
what a beautiful palace . Thanks for sharing. We really enjoyed it😊😊❤❤
Really enjoyed this. What a magnificent place. Thank you for sharing. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Hello Dave and Dawn, Hope you're well. Sorry, haven't been around for a while, hopefully October would be less busy :) <3
did you actually find the prints, or are the photos from another source? It's not at all obvious where they are specifically located from your video...
@@simonfox3220 I have to say, with all the water and sea weed it's not easy to spot them. There were three of us looking and we had a friendly bet that winner gets dinner lol, I didn't win. I'll put it on the fact the I was disadvantaged looking through the camera 😅 We didn't even know which rock was it and I checked every piece of rock with a lot of excitement just to get disappointed. The best landmark that I found was the buildings in the background, those will help you spot the big piece of rock. It's quite flat. Once you find the big piece of rock it would be towards the west (left) of that rock, when facing the sea, and assuming that's north. Once you get the water and moss out it's quite obvious. It didn't take us more than few minutes once we finally got to that giant flat rock. That's as much as I can say, I should have got GPS coordinates, it would have made it easier. I am sure you'll find it and enjoy it's adventure 🤞
@@scottishwonders4810 Found both of them no problem. Easy when you find the right chunk of rock! A tip for others, Yes, use the buildings as a guide: with your back to them (facing the sea, ie, South!), and assuming a low tide, look for a section of flat rock that looks like sand (that's cos it was sand originally). Near the left-hand edge, and about 4 metres towards the centre, you can't miss it.
@@simonfox3220 Yaaay 👍 well done! Thanks for leaving more tips and info for others. Hope you had a good time
Thank you for sharing ❤
Hello Dave and Dawn, thanks for your comment :), hope you have a nice weekend.
Hermoso video muchas gracias, impresionante desde Costa Rica saludos ❤

@@inbetween-days Hello Dave and Dawn, hope you're well ❤️. I'm glad that it got you curious 👍
Great video. Thank you for showing us around. Beautiful sunny day. Love the narrow alleyways. Beautiful buildings and enjoyed the street entertainment. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Thanks Dave and Dawn. Hope you're having a lovely weekend 🌹 ❤️
My grandfather was one first two Bus Mechanic apprentices taken on by the Glasgow Corporation Transport Department.. At the Parkhead depot he worked on the fleet of 20 buses from assorted manufacturers including the petrol-electric Tilling-Stevens. The Tilling-Stevens because of its electric transmission could not be tow or push started and was often left with engine running 24-7. My grandfather was the only one at Parkhead who had the knack of hand cranking the particular bus and this would cause a problem when he was on holiday.
Hi, thanks for sharing your memory with us ❤, I didn't even know there were electric transmissions back in the day! The solution of running it 24-7 is surprising in this day and age, not only the emission but also fuel prices😄Also, it must have been very special to be the only one with the know how, lucky grandfather 🙂👍
Thanks for sharing 👍 We enjoyed watching this video❤❤

This star is doing FLOWER SHOWS and fake wars ? Couldn't make this delusional shit up
I went to it as well started from Glasgow green but I was surprised we had no transport to take you to the transport museum that was silly but I found it funny my brother could get on the bus from Glasgow green to the transport museum that was funny and I had to get a bus and a train that was funny, but the day was good😂
Thanks for your comment ❤. I agree, it was a bit surprising to me, I have gone on a ride on some of these buses in city centre and thought it would be the same setup. In fact the ride that I went on also finished at transport museum a few years back (got the videos of it). But as we noticed they didnt pick up anyone, got no idea how your brother sneak on one (jammy b**...)🤣 But since the weather was nice (didnt rain till i got to museum and video and then poored on me a bit) i cycled from the green to riverside. was a nice event kudos to GVVT for arrangement and all the drivers and fans that showed up.
I see myself at 1:16 - sorry for photobombing 🤦
😂 sorry I didn't get a better shot of you, next time ❤
@@scottishwonders4810 I'll be sure to comb my hair before then, it's a disgrace 😅
We really enjoyed all these different and beautiful flowers Thanks for sharing ❤❤
Thank you for this. Brought back some memories of my 18 months as a driver with the the Corporation Transport in 1973/74. Noticed the Leyland Titan with route 37 Larkfield Garage on the destination board. I was based at Larkfield, and drove the 37 route up to Castlemilk regularly, mostly on Leyland Atlanteans. Also noticed the bus with Muirend on it's destination board. I also drove a route that terminated at Muirend, though I think at the time the route number was 3. It was usually served by Leyland Titans, with the rear platform. I recall one day, shortly after I'd qualified as a driver, sitting in the passenger compartment at the Muirend terminus, chatting with my conductress for the 5 or 10 minutes before heading back down the route. She said something like.... "... you know, when you're running really late, and every stop has loads of people waiting... they all moan loudly. But that's it. Here, (Muirend ), they don't moan, but they write the letters to Bath St. (Head Office), and you do hear about it..." A reference to the middle class sensibiliities of Muirend.
@@andrewpreston4127 Thank you so much for leaving a comment and sharing your lovely memories with us, this has added more context to this video, at the same time it brings me a sense of joy by making me think back and reflect on my own childhood memories ❤️ Glad that you spotted the Leyland bus and enjoyed the video ❤️
It's a couple of years since we've been to Chelsea. It's such a great event. Really enjoyed your video. Some beautiful show gardens and great stalls. ❤

2-3 hrs would be up AND down.

Bunch of odd people! what about us straight people where's our day? Huh?
Thanks for the comment. Not sure what to reply or reply at all. But I tell you my personal feeling and thinking, since you shared yours. I think of the pride parade as a day for anyone and everyone, there were people of every background and even chants about situation in Palestine, Ukraine etc. I wish there were more if these and with wider social, political, and environmental considerations, reminding us of neglected issues.
Are all porn hub categories represented in the parade? For example, it was difficult to distinguish whether there was also participation by necrophiles and fans of the golden shower?
Thank you for sharing your road trip. Have never been to Glasgow. Hard to imagine the winter today as we are having a heatwave here. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️
Hello Dawn and Dave, thanks for your kind message. You should visit sometime, it's easy to explore Glasgow with the Red buses but if you need a guide in at your service 😆 This was a video I wasn't sure whether to release or not. So I've been keeping it for a while. I have a similar video from 2020 or 2021 which surprisingly has decent views compared to average of my videos, so I decided to get this one out as well, although being a little late. Thanks for being the only consistent fan of the channel, much appreciated it ❤️ Have a nice weekend
