  • Situated in the village of Lochranza on the northern end of the Isle of Arran, Lochranza Castle is a striking historical ruin. The castle dates back to the 13th century and has a varied history, having been used as a hunting lodge by the Scottish kings and later as a garrison during the Civil War.
