Hey Ray! Just picked this up last night for Black Friday. What little I’ve gotten to play with it it sounds great (I’m still new to all of this) but I’m having trouble getting it to work with my DAW. I was using GB before I got it then I saw it’s not compatible so I tried it with reaper and just have no clue what I’m doing 😂. I know you’re busy but if you can give me some pointers, any help is appreciated!

Have you tried bus-distortion on your guitars to make theme bigger again? Just have your Left channel have a bus out to an aux channel, and pan it hard right and with a touch of reverb, and blend it to taste. Same with the Right channel. Sounds great with cleans as you can do 1 track up the centre with bussed-aux tracks Left and Right!

Love checking out this plugin. You could do an entire series of videos focusing on each Individual amp per video and I’d watch the shit out of it.
Love the options this gives for example quad tracking guitars. Some people prefer quad tracking and some don’t. However usually with blending amps quad tracking is the way to go.
With this you don’t need to as you can blend amps before that stage. Sure, you don’t get the huge quad tracked sound but not everyone goes for that. I was actually thinking the other day “how crazy would it be if you quad tracked all the rhythms with blended tones on all rhythm tracks?”.
And then sure enough Matt Heafy does a demo vid on this plugin suite and does exactly that.
Monumental doesn’t even begin to describe the sound.

Could even do a mix shootout using the same song. But one mix is the Neural DSP stuff and the other mix is the STL Putney stuff. That’d be cool.

Exactly. Bouncing between the plugins in a mix to hear their sonic differences.
Like say have the Nameless and the NTS vs. the Bogner and the Triple Crown or vs. the 5150 and the Diezel (or any blend of the Putney suite).
Could even throw the Plini in there if you wanted to 😊

Hello. Trying to understand how stl tonality works; is it a software like guitar rig but much more pro? You have a pc, a couple of monitors and a external sound card and of course guitar and thats all? All reviews are for pro users and im completely stuck… Looking forwad to answers. Thanks
Yes it is a piece of software. You need a computer, an interface, monitors or headphones, and a digital audio workstation to record. I hope this helps!
I keep hearing it sounds kinda fizzy. Is that true? I guess I don't hear it.
I don think so. I've used it on everything since I got it
@@xanderraymondcharles ok cool. I was ready to buy it since it's still only $99, but started seeing all the fizzy comments. Lots of people are saying the Ignite Emissary free plugin is not fizzy and sounds better.
