    While I was originally going to grab the Neural DSP NTS, this has way more options for the casual home studio engineer. Is the emulation better than Neural? Probably not, but with a channel strip and some post EQ tweaks, you're there. Having several amps at your fingertips expands the options and makes for a better album

      @neonether 5 лет назад +1

      LOL. They're two completely different concepts. Neural DSP makes tone-accurate amp models. Tonality offers models that have been slaved over to be mix-ready. They're not gonna sound great or exactly like the actual amps because they've been expertly edited to sit well in the mix. That's why even in this vid the intro tune sounds nicer than the solo tones. If you're just jamming out then sure, not gonna sound too pleasing to the ear. If you're tracking for a mix, then the thousands of hours of experience and work it took to create and deliver major album tones into a plug-in format means much more.

      gawydion M no demo version it seems. Im betting on neural, plini and nameless miles better than the stl benson to my ears. Also prefer neural's user interface.

      Based on this video it sounds way worse than the Neural stuff

      Both are great. Tonality suites are designed for really shining in a mix as-is. If you're just jamming out and want a 5150 or something, this is not going to be as accurate or pleasing; it will however amaze you at how awesome it sounds by doing absolutely nothing but sticking a decent drum track behind it. Both are different and both are great.

    Damn, by themselves, this sounds amazing to me. I’d imagine you’d need to mess with the EQ and lower the gain in a full mix, but that’s to be expected.
