More SOTO Windmaster nesting options

  • There are a few videos on RUclips showing various nesting options for the Windmaster stove. I haven't found any information regarding it nesting inside any of the Evernew pots so I bought them to find it out myself.

    Nice. You're the only other person besides myself who I've seen with the x mug inside an Olicamp. I also put a mini lighter under mine, and sometimes a Jetboil canister tripod on the top of the lid. It fits snuggly over that nub on top of the lid perfectly. Good to have the extra stability when filling the pot up all the way. I also notched the bottom of my Olicamp with a cutoff Disc and so the burner rests directly on the bottom. Decreased boil time by 15+ seconds if I remember correctly.

      That's an interesting approach, I've seen people do the same with the Jetboil Stash pot. As for my Olicamp pot, I've actually never used it in the backcountry. So far I've been solo hiking so no need for such a big volume.
