- This video shows you how to replace a piezo ignition on your Soto Windmaster Stove. The same process works on most newer model non-ceramic piezo stoves.
I own & use my Windmaster; it's my go-to cannister stove. I didn't know the piezo part was replaceable. I've NOT had any issues with mine, so far. I may buy a spare to have on hand if & when.
I feel like the stove is top notch. I still can't figure out what happened to it when my friend used it and it backfired.
@@jessemaloney8960 I know some brands of stove are notorious for malfunctioning piezo igniters. Soto on the other hand has been praised in numerous videos for having a reliable piezo igniter on all of their stoves.
I normally light my stove with my Firestarter Ferro Rod & Striker & save the stove's piezo for the situation when I for some strange reason don't have my Firestarter ferro rod with me.
Good luck with the 2nd screw. Still a great stove though.
Got it loose with a pair of needle nose.
Mine has never worked : ( must replace it . Easier to follow this at 1/2 speed, & more fun : )
Great video, thanks. Your address is visible on your package, might want to blank that out.
So glad you found it helpful.
Is the Dewalt 6mm deep socket (on your desk always) on the table to be able to remove the nozzle of the Windmaster?
Yes, but I realized that I wouldn't need it for the repair.
