  • This video shows you how to replace a piezo ignition on your Soto Windmaster Stove. The same process works on most newer model non-ceramic piezo stoves.

    I own & use my Windmaster; it's my go-to cannister stove. I didn't know the piezo part was replaceable. I've NOT had any issues with mine, so far. I may buy a spare to have on hand if & when.

      I feel like the stove is top notch. I still can't figure out what happened to it when my friend used it and it backfired.

      @@jessemaloney8960 I know some brands of stove are notorious for malfunctioning piezo igniters. Soto on the other hand has been praised in numerous videos for having a reliable piezo igniter on all of their stoves.
      I normally light my stove with my Firestarter Ferro Rod & Striker & save the stove's piezo for the situation when I for some strange reason don't have my Firestarter ferro rod with me.

      Got it loose with a pair of needle nose.

    Mine has never worked : ( must replace it . Easier to follow this at 1/2 speed, & more fun : )

    Is the Dewalt 6mm deep socket (on your desk always) on the table to be able to remove the nozzle of the Windmaster?
