As much as I still love mags, I really appreciate discussing the point and validity for the drum. That rear loading is OP functional. And I really appreciate keeping the toyetic parts of these dart blasters in the conversation. Otherwise we may as well just be playing airsoft at some point...
Airsoft hurts less than foam flinging these days. lol! I'll take a 700fps airsoft pellet over a 300fps dart any day, and nowadays anyone can rock up to the field at least hitting 200! lol

I'm a proud owner of the first Max Stryker model. I modified mine a lot to keep up with the 3d printed blasters my friends have. I have used it for years, and I was thinking of replacing it. Right when I start looking for a new primary, this comes out. It hits harder than my modified stryker OUT OF THE BOX. It has a DRUM, where my biggest issue with the stryker was how many times I would have to reload my mags in some trench during a match. It has a SCAR barrel, which I was planning on buying separately for mine. It has a better stock for Iron sights, and It has an AR-style grip. On top of that it has Slamfire (I think the old stryker had it too, which I loved) I feel as if this blaster was custom-made for me, fixing all the issues I had with the previous one. I swear, dart zone is the GOAT!
Magazines only make sense if you already have a really big collection. This seems like the perfect way to get into the pro line, as you can just rely on the drum and if you buy the pistols and stuff now you can use the mags with it.
Nope. You're not the only one! But I s'pose since they made essentially a Nexus Pro 2.0 for Walmart, they had to make a Stryker 2.0 for Target. IMHO, paint it red then "Viola!" a Tomcat 2.0. Slam fire is such a funny term. Us old guys call it an autotrigger on a paintball marker. 😂 It's great for intimidating the target, but you're probably not hitting anyone.

Comes from old shotguns. Got the name because on older shotties you could just hold the trigger down and the hammer would never catch. If you "Slammed" the pumpgrip forward fast enough you could chamber the next shell before the hammer fell, letting you just keep pumping to keep fireing. Later it became more refined and an intended feature, and the Blaster Hobby picked up the term as well.
If you're bad you aren't, I'mma be real, slamfire can basically act as full auto if you get your technique good enough. The crusher and villianator are very very nice
14:19 This view of it made me look at my nexus pro x and say “You’ve been replaced.” I’m a huge “Alien” fan and the green color is perfect for a xenomorph themed build.
6:50 the best part is that you can empty your mags and have the drum (or 2) on your hip then get to scavenging if the match goes on longer than anticipated.
Great review! My son has both the Stryker 2.0 and the Nexus Pro X. When I did target practice with both, the height over bore of the Nexus was too much for me. I love the drum! So great for neighborhood matches with my son and his friends! I just picked up my own Stryker 2.0 today and now my son and I have killer loadouts with the Venom Pro and the Stryker 2.0!
I like having both options, since i like the idea of using the drum and then change to the mags when empty, or using the mags and when they're empty going Full scav mode

Self-presents are the best! You are never dissapointed! My only gripe with this blaster is that it abandoned the horizontal grip. I love the stryker 1.0 because of it's grip.
I'm definitely in the Drum > Magazine camp. The Turbo Advance is still one of my favorites (haven't moved into the Pro ecosystem since I haven't had a reason to) because of the high capacity drums that are really easy to make rear-loading.
I really like the new redesign for the stryker 2.0. I always had trouble using full length darts with the original Max Stryker. Glad it’s half length dart only

How much plastic on the pusher goes past the o-ring in the breech? Might be able to file or dremel a tiny channel on the pusher to stop the vacuum issues
It has one, but it might not be deep enough? It's either that, or it's the actual friction from pushing the dart through the o-ring. I can't figure it out. It's one of the two.

I had a far out idea of modding a dart zone villainator to take nerf mags. The dimensions seemed nearly perfect with some way to hold it. Looks like dart zone already thought of that!

Slamfire is a term actually coming from the real steel world. It's first noted being used to refer to using it with pump shotguns.

25 does seem a bit low capacity for a drum, though I imagine if it was larger it would likely start to get in the way of priming
