My theory is, he went to work for nerf designing blasters, and he can't review them anymore because of some breach of contract/conflict of interest type deal.
Tbh, the tripod being "short" on this actually makes sense, in a semi-realistic "can be mounted behind low cover" kind of way.
Like how it would be if you are standing in a trench or more realistic just sitting behind some stuff

The barrel rotation being connected to the belt feeding mechanism means it'll spin faster when you increase the rate of fire.... I love it.
You might be able to prevent jams by storing the belt in a backpack and having a sleeve going between the backpack and the blaster, like the MOAB.
Alternatively, you can have it hold additional chains that you pull out from the side to reload like in Jin Roh: Wolf Brigade.
@@harlannguyen4048 I suppose you could split a backpack into two compartments and have two chains feeding out of the left and right sides for dual-wielding. I'd rather have one chain per blaster, but a custom link every 10 shots to delink a section of chain could be useful.

Imagine making it have a human targeting system on each blaster like other nerf sentries out there, and even having it time a Mega Xl/other large ammo type launcher to shoot at people. Thatd be sick
Someone will absolutely design a 3d printed chain box that attaches to the left side pic rail. And, when they do, this will be the best mainstream blaster ever

I can imagine hooking 3 of these side by side, with a 3d printed trigger connector so all 3 can be fired simultaneously, and putting like 1000 round belts in each. Your encampment position would NEVER fail

Yeah it seems like unpopular blasters just remain with no support, it sucks. I mean with the v twin i guess the open flywheel project dart zone cage would potentially work idk lol

I should probably clarify that I’m pretty new to the hobby. Just learned how to solder last year working on a spectrum as my first mod. So unless there’s a dedicated kit and step by step instructional video there’s not much I can do

A while back, I used 2 of them to make (essentially) a half-sized, direct-prime Roughcut with dual triggers.
Has a couple disadvantages;
without extensive shell modification, the handle becomes extremely wide,
and I had to shave down the triggers a bit in order to reach both of them with one finger.
That being said, all I did was sand down the raised details on the mating sides,
add a couple locating pins, (not essential),
use a piece of half-inch plywood between the handles as a brace,
and drill out 4 of the screw holes to add through-bolts.
It works AWESOME! Definitely worth trying, even if you just tape them together! ☺
The amount of value you get out of this is absolutely insane!
I’ve always wanted a automatic flywheeler in the style of the Crusher that was bigger than the V-Twin. This is everything I wanted in a mini gun foam blaster and more. All I needed was a review to make sure it was perfect and it sure is. I’m 100% picking this up! Thanks Walcom!
If you left darts out of the chain you could have lined the gun up and fired timing. The gaps in the chain to allow the chronograph time to reset between darts, and given that it has a tripod lining it up should have been easier.

I can see someone modifying it into a browning .50 cal, especially since the rear grip is nearly identical to the M2HB’s rear grip

OK X-Shot has blasted the competition out the park for foam flinging this year. Also I'm from the UK and to any UK fans here. You can pick these up from Smyths. Hope this helps. Either way absolutely awesome blaster and I cannot wait to get my hands on it

As a demolition business owner, EVERYTHING is removable. The top handle is for waist level sweeping, a la Terminator.

I don't know why RUclips recommended this video but now I want one so I can 3D print a trigger mechanism for four of them together and a rail system that also holds the guns together in a more stable way and allows the bullets to not get tangled up.

Now you get a friend, name him the ammo carrier, and give him a ton of the belts, and then you just carry the gun and you can work as a machine gun squad
This is exactly what I wanted to see! Heavyarms minigun! Now we just need a Unicorn minigun montage! I'd probably glue the connector on those rails. I can't see a use case for firing 2 separate miniguns, better to have a stable, double or quadruple minigun.

Man the Vulcan was almost double this price for a notoriously inconsistent blaster. We have come extremely far in NERF
Yeah but the Vulcan was an electronic springer, way more complex than the flywheels here.
@@WalcomS7 oh, believe me, I know that much. I am OBSESSED with all things AEGs, but the Vulcan in particular just wasn’t super great, especially compared to the Stampede, at least in my opinion

Because every time I did a range test about 8-14% of people clicked away. My views actually went up when I stopped doing them.

You can time both miniguns to double the firerate and maybe even mod both fire rates and make a mechanism that times both perfectly; which may make the total firerate to be like 1000 - 1200 rpm.
If that doesn’t work….

Not seen your content in a while, but I think the impossible became possible. You could theoretically make a TF2 Sentry gun that can be used with a laser to automatically aim and fire without ever touching the blaster. Holy moly, the possibilities are endless.

I would love to see a version of this that fires half length darts running on a lipo rechargeable battery and set on a tall tripod like the foldable ones made out if aluminum used by surveyors. Now that would be the ultimate heavy nerf machine gun!

i was skipping thru the video and the "you can be gundam heavyarms" caught me off guard cuz i never thought i would hear gundam stuff in a nerf vid

Huh. Heavy Arms.
So you said at the end there that the belt can shed darts.
But the chain can be looped.
Now I'm thinking an enclosed ammo box that wraps around to pull chain from one side and eject into the other, with just enough front to back play to let the links move through.
Add a roller on the front of the feed side to nudge darts back into the link and now you don't need to worry about shedding darts.
And if you're modding that much, next you can link two of them top to top and rewire the triggering system further forward, with a sleeve-style forearm brace to fire the whole thing one-handed.
... Doing the midair backflips is the hard part though.
Im only 15 but i have always loved neft wars. I remember my dad made a double v twin once and me made a giant tripod for it and you couldnt even have a nerf war with him unless you had friends for backup
even without good aim this thing will put fear into the battlefield
Forget Heavyarms at this point if you have 3 turrets for each arm, you can become the Ahura Mazda from Code Geass Akito the Exiled! All we need to do is figure out how to spread out each of the guns so that it can do more widespread fire
