Excellent review of the camera. You covered just about every aspect of using this camera and you had very good observations and comments.
I believe that "Super View" simply compresses the image from top to bottom (not expand it side to side) to give the illusion of a wider view. However, the view is not wider at all. As you noted, the image is not as good so there is no need to ever use this feature.
You touched about low light performance. I wish that you showed how the camera performed outdoors at night - for example, walking or driving around a city that was lit by streetlights. I suspect that the image quality would be rather poor, but I would have like to see it anyway.
